I am a usual customer here. Since they were closed early this time, even if their website says they closed by 8pm, but today I called to the store and ask their employee at what time they closed and she say 7 pm and I get there 6:54, she already closed and start cleaning. I was trying to talk to her and remind she ways saying 7pm a few minutes ago, but she don’t want to give me attention to talk she just say closed! This is so sad.

We had a wonderful experience! Everything was fresh and clean. The server Myla was so pleasant and offered great customer service- very welcoming as soon as we walked in the door and served full cups of ice cream with fresh toppings! The other Coldstone staffers were very nice as well.???

Horrible hours, closes at “8pm” when most people are just arriving to or finishing their dinner, went the other day 15mins before they allegedly close and multiple people were turned away by staff saying they were closed for the day. Used to be open as late as 10pm I believe. We went to the Ben and Jerry’s just 2mins away instead apparently they enjoy taking their turned away customers often ? and were all very friendly go their instead of wasting your time.

Initially, I placed an order online for one of their signature cakes: the Cake Batter Confetti. This cake has multiple layers of red velvet, ice cream, and frosting. Next, I called the following day to change the size of the cake to a larger size. The person on the phone mentioned that I should call the next day since a manager wasn't available to change the size of the cake. I called back the next day and I was able to order the cake I wanted in the size I wanted for my dad for Father's Day. Finally, I picked up the cake, left a 20% tip, and went home. My family tried the cake and the bottom red velvet layer was hard as ice. I ate the bottom layer and it tasted watery with textures of cake. For the price point of this cake, this should not have happened. It looks like someone thawed out the cake and then placed it back for someone else to order it later. The top layers were delicious but the bottom layer leaves me with a memory to never go to this store for ice cream cakes again.

Never closing on time I drove 3days back to back before 7pm for ice cream and the were inside with the door close and the lady refused to serve me. In the cold with my pregnancy and she refused. Never again

Very neat ice cream shop in the center of downtown silver spring. A great night to ice skate and grab some ice cream after. The service and ice cream were great. We will definitely be back.

I ended up walking out today and taking my business elsewhere. The Latina lady working served a white Guy who came after me and when I mentioned that I was in the store before him, she basically called me a liar. Maybe it’s because I’m black? I’m wondering about that and what went wrong, the store wasn’t even busy so how could she overlook me so easily and put me on the back burner, and call me a liar in the process? I felt insulted and discriminated against to say the least.This was my second week in a row at this location. The bathroom was out of service last week but I enjoyed my milkshake and decided to return today. The bathroom was still out of service as of today. Health code violation? There was no AC on inside either, even though it’s 70 degrees outside today, and it felt humid and and uncofortable in the store.After today , never again! Get your act together Coldstone! This store is a joke!
