Dave & Buster's Silver Spring

I try and enjoy a meal and playing a few games twice a month. Most of the time I go it's open seating, so I have to remember to remind myself to remind my server to check me in for my reservation. Everything was good up until happy hour was ending, as I started to clock watch and time was ticking away for happy hour to end. My server started to make his rounds, I held my hand up but was in rotation as he held up a finger meaning give me a few. When my server got to my table my question,was I to late for my last happy hour drink??? He asked what time was it??? It was a few minutes after 7pm,he informed me that he would speak with his Manager. He brought my drink and Peter a Manager ask how was my service and went and got my receipt. Once I looked at my receipt, my server never informed me that my last drink was not the happy hour price. I flagged Peter down and explained it to him and he took care of it. I take the survey on the receipt and one of the questions is did a Manager stop by to check on me,I sit right where everyone can see me coming out of the Kitchen and I see the Managers in and out of the kitchen. Peter is the only Manager whom has check on me after I started doing the survey because I've been there a few times before I was informed about the survey from my Server. I wish I knew his name but I will find out the next time I see him so he can get the credit he deserves.

It's one of the places downtown Silver Spring that I enjoy grabbing a bite at. Also, the great happy hours selection.

My son had a party here and it was a great experience food and good, overall service wonderful.

I had an amazing experience at Dave & Buster's, largely thanks to our phenomenal server, Leilani! From the moment we sat down, she was attentive and full of great recommendations. She even did a last call for happy hour, which was a nice touch.

My son absolutely loved his chicken tenders, and Leilani made sure to check back with us to ensure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was lively, and the arcade games were a blast. I highly recommend this place for a fun outing. Great food, awesome games, and exceptional service!

Lots of fun games and delicious drinks. The signature shots are especially good. The service was very good as well. We had a great time.

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options aren't great, but they have things like mozzarella sticks and other cheesy bar foods. I wouldn't recommend it if you're vegan.

The service was so slow even when they weren't not busy. There was rarely anyone at the reception desk or the hostess stand.

I go D&B quite frequently due to the kids enjoying the games and D&B having a great happy hour during the week. However, the customer service is lacking. At times you are waiting a while to be acknowledge, you have to wait a time to get a drink despite the place not being busy. The manager is not helpful or efficient when solving issues. Furthermore the food is lack luster . D&B needs to do better in the customer service department.

So we spun the proverbial block and they are still awesome! Ryan was amazing.also it's criminal for them not to allow us to rate that smash burger. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. Ryan was chill about my nieces when they were cutting up. Never wavered. I thought I wrote this review already but I realized it was under my other professional email. As yall know, I critique hard. This man checked all the boxes. I never felt without great service. Thanks for your service on my birthday sir.

Parking: The garage by the Safeway is most likely the best bet for free parking but the center has a parking lot as well.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly for sure. The staff is everywhere so you never feel like there isn't an adult around from the staff if your kid was to get lost. the staff in general was great. The win section had knowledgeable staff for any and every question.

Ryan was a phenomenal server. He kept the drinks flowing and was not bothered by my disruptive but cute nieces. The food was incredible and the shots were poured perfectly to the point where we got 3 rounds. The fries here are so good with the aioli

Parking: Parking was a breeze. There are several different places to park. We elected to go to the parking garage connected to the safeway

Went for the Canelo vs Berlanga fight. Great screens to watch, can’t say the same about the food or service.

Understandably, it was a busy night. We (group of 7) didn’t expect immediate service but we waited 40 min at our table without interaction from any staff. 30 mins in, we talked to two people- bussers, I think, if they could find our server. They never came back. Then when a server passed our section at 12:20, we asked her for the same help, and she said the kitchen was closed but she’d get the manager. Again, no one ever came back.

At that point, we were just gonna play some games and leave to find food. At around 12:40, last call was announced on the loud speakers?? We rushed to the front to try and place a take out order, no one was there. Waited a few minutes, no one came. Went back to the host stand to order but it was past last call. We then communicated our inconveniences and they were understanding enough to ask the kitchen if we could still order. This person did come back, and we were finally able to order food (1hr plus of waiting by then).

I wish I could say we got home and enjoyed our food, but we found that not only did we receive 1/6 meals wrong, 2 of them (flatbreads) were completely under cooked. Waste of $30, super disappointed.

Most of the games and machines are broken.
Some of the games are carnival style and make it impossible to win. Didn't realize how terrible the prizes are. It's essentially a scam.
Won't come back, ever.

Food wise, the menu now is horrible, the appetizers list is 👎🏽the drink list is 👎🏽the service I got was horrible, I had to get up from the table 3× looking for the waiter, she brought me my salad with no dressing, I asked for pepper and the waiter went to another table to take a order, had to go to the bar for pepper, couldn't find her to pay the bill and I needed to go boxes, this was such a disappointment, which lead to no tip, haven't been to this DB in yrs and now I remember why......
