Dave's Hot Chicken

Definitely more hype than its worth. Their chicken is bland, and the sauce is not tasty. The kale slaw salad no taste or seasoning, if had to doctor it up. I've tried this place twice, and that's it for me.

This was my first time ever trying Dave’s Hot Chicken. I was originally planning to try the Rockville location, but since they didn’t have online ordering, I ended up taking a few buses to the Silver Spring location instead. Honestly, I’m glad it worked out that way.

I ordered Hot, and while the flavor was good and the chicken was juicy, it wasn’t spicy at all for me. If you’re into real heat, you’ll probably want to go Extra Hot or higher. Overall, solid food and a good first experience.

Food was ok. I didn't think it was anything special. The mac and cheese was terrible. Cheese sauce terrible. Royal farms and wawa have way better mac & cheese / cheese sauce. Everything was decent though...77 out of 100

I want to give a big shout-out to Sara and Abdul for always recognizing customers by name and serving with a smile. Their customer service is consistent, friendly, and very accommodating. The environment is always clean... even the restrooms.

I’ve also redeemed points through the rewards program, and it’s easy to use and gives great value compared to other food chains. Whether ordering take-out or dining in, the food quality, temperature, and portions have always been great.

Highly recommend this place for family and friends!

love the look of the restaurant and the size of the dinning area. also the dining area was very clean. It was my 1st time having daves and the cashier was very helpful on letting me know how to order and what the spice levels where for the sauces. the only real down side was that there chicken was super plain no seasoning at all i could tell everything was left for the sauce to complete and the sauce isn't that good not to complete the entire taste of the chicken but i think that if you bring your own seasoning it could change the entire experience

It says it's open upto 11pm online, but when I arrived they had a sign that says they close at 10 for the night. That's not professional! I had to drive all the way here for nothing.
