The food is good, the music is a little loud so I have trouble hearing.

WHEN I SAY DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE I MEAN IT. theyll charge you $20 for a plate. AND theyWONT LET YOU CHANGE IF DONT LIKE. no compassion for customers nor understanding. very sad and not professional

Don Pollo is hands down the best spot for Peruvian roasted chicken in DC! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. The chicken is perfectly roasted; juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Don’t even think about skipping the green sauce and the fries, they’re a must! And if you’re feeling adventurous, the fajitas are amazing too. Highly recommend!

My family and I have been going to this location for many years now. However, two days ago my mom ordered from this restaurant and when she cut open the chicken at home, it was almost completely raw. Absolutely terrible! Unfortunately, this is not the first time that this has happened but we let it slide the first couple of times (other reviews mention similar experiences). However, this experience would have to be the first one to date, and we will not be returning. It is a shame because the cashiers are very welcoming and friendly. For future customers, I hope this restaurant takes the proper steps to ensure that their food is properly cooked.

The quality and fresh cook of the chicken was poor. It looks like the chicken was made in the morning or one day before. It looks like overcooked. The leruvian food is amazing. Please take care the quality.

When I am on lunch break from college I come here. Mondays or Wednesdays you can expect to see me here. Peruvian broiled chicken is one of my favorite foods and Don Pollo does it right. Not to mention, I love the song selections. There’s a always bachata, salsa, merengue, and other Latin music playing in the background which I appreciate as an devout listener to those genres. The staff is always very friendly and and helpful. Viva Don Pollo!
