If have to be honest, I will say that this establishment is very unprofessional. We didn’t even get our waitresses name. She didn’t even check on us. We had to flag her down multiple times. They were too busy chatting and gossiping to even check the fact that we needed things forgot my husband drink. they charge gratuity without even telling you, I shouldn’t have to tip off based off a terrible service so clearly this establishment stands on forcing customers to pay for it. It’s tragic based off of bad service our food took over an hour and a half to almost 2 hours to even receive and when we finally got it, there was items missing and she clearly wasn’t paying attention so she had to put the order in again for the items that we ordered and when it came and made me sick, the manager was not friendly. He was not understanding and he did not care the fact that you’re forcing customers to pay gratuity also a terrible service is beyond the fact that this is a black establishment and we’re supporting our people and this is type of service that we received. I will not come back again and I will not recommend in the previous post below when the person put a one star review is absolutely correct hands down on point about the service of the establishment. It’s really sad because I do not like tearing down my black community or black establishment because I believe it’s supporting our community but I can definitely not recommend. Y’all gotta do better. If your the owner watch your cameras you will see also the security guard rushing you at the door is even more crazy. I felt like I was entering a prison system and dang near patted down. To get out ids no welcome to our establishment it was a straight jump out like we stole something. My Husband didn’t enjoy his self at all. amy. my husband said that. My husband said the lamb taste very gaming in the jerk chicken made me sick, they also ran out of things and didn’t tell you. Also to ask my husband if he has a gun on him is very insulting. Please do better because this ain’t it. We were out for his birthday. The whole experience ruined

We had reservations. Nobody even acknowledged us as we were standing at the door, so we sat ourselves. Even then it took 10 minutes for someone to even come to us. It wasn't even crowded. We were given menu and even then server continued to walk around us. Noone around us had their food and they appeared to be waiting an extended period of time. We finally gave up and went a few doors down to Society Lounge.

This was my first time visiting. The parking wasn’t too bad. Regular street parking, free on the weekends. You might have to go around the corner to find a spot. If there’s none in the front. The environment was self pace calm not raunchy. The staff seemed to be all over the place, not as organized as I would have expected, especially on a Sunday! It wasn’t overcrowded, so I wasn’t understanding why it was unorganized and the waiters were not prompt. We had a party of 10 and the majority of them had waited over an hour for their food at that point I wasn’t even hungry anymore. The drink was watered down and very small to be $23. SMH the wait time and the lack of service. Let me to completely lose a desire to do anything but leave and go somewhere else. There was no apologies for the wait no compensation of time. This was a gathering for celebrating, and there was no acknowledgment of that either in addition the bathrooms were not clean and it was very small. I was expecting to see a lot of smiles and welcoming interactions however that was not received the decorations on the table was not even properly set up. They were lamps on the table that didn’t even turn on. It was a waste of space and last, but not least, the tables were wobbling and caused some of our drinks tilted over. I’m not sure if it was because it was a Sunday or if it was because we were bigger crowd, but this service was horrible and I was disappointed and so were others. We were considering busing the roof top but it was no one there. Maybe the weather and what time and day you visit may determine the outcome. I’ll try again on a spring Saturday.

I love this place. I tried the oxtail mac & cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection as well as the Oreo waffles and their grits and lamb chops. Their brunch experience is very nice and there's parking in the area. I highly recommend you try out their brunch. They also have a cool mimosa tower. I couldn't pick a favorite food option! Great vibe.

Went there late in the evening with some friends around 10pm. We were informed that the Brunch menu is over by 8pm however the late night menu is in effect at that time. I was able to order the fried red snapper with Jollof rice and sautéed cabbage and It was simply delicious. I felt a bit hot, however it is an open rooftop and the sun was blazing
