“Guatemalan cuisine. 10/10 of the food portions, taste of the food, and amazing customer service. Love the shucos and the parrillada mixta, the hibiscus juice is the best one I had tried so far (agua de Jamaica)“
“Super legit taqueria and pupuseria truck at the Exxon station with delicious tacos and (I'm certain) great pupusas. I was taking the car through emissions at lunch time and so I stopped up here for two carne asada tacos and they came with lots of cilantro, onion some radishes, carrot, slivers of jalapeño, and both salsas roja and verde. The salsas were excellent and the tacos were total chef's kiss perfection. I will have to come back to try their pupusas and curtido sometime soon. Delicious!“

“I went here with my friend and he gave me a free Pepsi! Really nice and friendly atmosphere from the other people waiting there too. The food was awesome, the fries were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Definitely worth trying. My friend got the cheeseteak sub with the fries which I also ate 😍“

“Good service, great food!“
“Wow! The pupusas were delicious! I ordered the Pupusa de Pollo and the special that night, the Pupusa with Shrimp. The restaurant also offers tacos, salads and soups. Do not forget to order a smoothie to go with your pupusas. The banana smoothie was just that: smooth and satisfyingly sweet with the savory pupusas.“
“Five Stars for El Maestro del Sazón – A Taste of the Dominican Republic in the Heart of Silver Spring!Nestled in the bustling streets of Silver Spring, El Maestro del Sazón is a hidden gem that serves up some of the most authentic and delicious Dominican cuisine you'll find outside of Santo Domingo. From the moment you step up to the window, you're greeted with warm smiles and the enticing aromas of Caribbean spices that promise an unforgettable culinary journey. The menu, though concise, is a powerhouse of flavors. The star of the show is undoubtedly the "Pernil" – a perfectly roasted pork that falls apart at the touch of a fork, marinated in a traditional blend of herbs and spices that seep through every bite. It's served with a side of "Arroz con Gandules" (rice with pigeon peas), which is flavorful, fluffy, and cooked to perfection, pairing wonderfully with the rich, savory pork. Not to be overlooked, the "Pollo Guisado" (braised chicken) is another standout dish. The chicken is tender and bathed in a beautifully seasoned stew, with bell peppers and onions that add a touch of sweetness and a robust depth of flavor. Pair it with their "Tostones" (twice-fried plantain slices), which are crispy on the outside with a soft, savory inside, and you have a meal that truly delights the palate. An essential try is the "Chicharrones," deep-fried pork rinds that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. This dish epitomizes the savory goodness of Dominican street food, offering a crunchy, satisfying texture that pairs perfectly with a squeeze of fresh lime.El Maestro del Sazón is more than just a food truck; it's a vibrant celebration of Dominican culture and cuisine. The attention to detail in every dish, the use of authentic ingredients, and the consistent quality make this a must-visit spot in Silver Spring. Whether you're a homesick Dominican longing for a taste of home or a curious foodie looking to explore new cuisines, El Maestro del Sazón will not disappoint.Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the experience is simply joyful. This food truck is a shining example of how traditional flavors can be both preserved and celebrated in every meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a culinary adventure right in the heart of Silver Spring!“
“First time trying this food truck and I had the chicken torta. There must be about 20 layers in this torta and they all came out perfectly, I don't know how they made this so quickly. Not the cheapest but very good portion size. I can't wait to try other items here.“

“The best Tacos I ever tasted in the area; prices are very reasonable, living over 30 years in DC the flavor and service they deliver are excellent. I'm Peruvian but I can tell you this is a unique place for Mexican and Central American plates. ??????
Vegetarian options: You can select yourself your choices.“

“When I started my stumbling Spanish, the lady called her coworker to the window who spoke perfect English. I ordered two tasty tacos double wrapped in soft tortillas for just $7. The portions were generous, and the beef well seasoned. There's a table in a divider strip between the parking lot and the street, so the ambiance is basic taco truck.“
“Good grief. These were without a question the best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. My only regret is I only ordered 2 just to try them. started eating on my way home. I wish I ordered 5 more. Definitely go there and definitely get a few barbacoa tacos. Also the people running it were nice! I rarely ever leave reviews but these were that good.“

“They need to work on their business etiquette when dealing with customers and answering the phone. Their Pupusas are very good! Their Carne Asada (Beef Filet) portion is big and tastes good. All of their dishes are made fresh in their food Truck. Again my only complaint is their business etiquette which is basically non-existent.“

“This place is a hidden gem. Inexpensive, authentic, and delicious Latin American food. The pupusas and tacos are great. There are other things on the menu but I’ve never tried them, because once you’ve tried the pupusas and tacos it’s hard to order anything else.“

“I asked "cuales son los favoritos", and the friendly answer was "Garnachas y pupusas", so we ordered those, bill was $20, got more delicious food than two of us could finish. Ask for some habanero salsa, it was great and super picante.“
