So far the food is always delicious. The legume is great with generous portions. I also had the accra. The portion size shocked me. The accra was fresh, tasty and came with piklis. Give this place a try if you’re in MD and looking for authentic Haitian food.

Hands down the food is GOOD!! The banan, pate, turkey, the rice...it was all delicious. I didnt try everything on the menu but what I did have made me go back every single day during my short visit to Maryland. The restaurant itself is old looking nothing I would go to for a vibe or celebration just pick up my yummy food and leave. Customer service was fine much better than the average Haitian spot but nothing to brag about. Taste of the food makes up for everything else.

Although the food is rather authentic and good overall. The customer service and atmosphere of this establishment is horrible. I walked in to an empty restaurant and couldn’t even get as much as a hello from any of the staff, they literally stood there and looked at me like I wandered into the wrong place. I had to say something first and asked to be seated. Mhm that probably explains why the place is so dead in the first place. All in all you guys need to learn how to be good hosts for your guests and make positive impressions from the get go.

Food is absolutely outstanding, however, due to the lack of attentiveness and A/C, the experience is not so great, It definitely has the potential to be a top restaurant To clarify, the staff is not rude at all just more forgetting to attend to guests and the lack of A/C makes it hard to enjoy the atmosphere

worst service ever
how can any one walk into anyone's establishment & be allowed to be ignored for nearly an hour is amazing actually...

& yes, I waited specifically for someone, anyone to ask if I wished to be seated, or hey have a seat at the bar, certainly the barkeep will MAKE EYE CONTACT & inquire if I need anything or not...

not the 1st time I've been here... will be the LAST

The food was meh. Acra was salty. Mack and cheese were salty and dry. The most important service is just horrible. I know y'all make money by hiring more people. They didnt give us water, it took 10 minutes for a menu 20 minutes for an order, and we sat. Next to the freezer and it stinks people keep going in and out of it. The smell was just horrible. When they decided to give us our food they forgot the rice about 25 minutes. The servers were alright but, they were overwhelmed they couldn't provide good service.

We paid $75 and our food was cold by the time we got it.

Original plan was to sit down and eat, but we never got table. When our food was ready, our table was not ready or available. So we waited for a table to become available, then decided to take our food to go. Not sure if this is how this place is typically ran or what.

Also, I noticed the kompa dance class started an hour late.

The Giselle owner and his staff were fantastic in hosting my younger brothers
33rd bday dinner of 30 people. The vibe
was set with a mix of caribbean island
music playing in the background. The
food was excellent and authentic. We
were pleased with the service and how
attentiveness the staff was. We had an amazing time! I highly
recommend this restuarant whether its
for a large party group, dinner date or
even for takeout. You'll enioy it as much
as my family and I did.
