$10.99 for a bagel sandwich then interrupted by a pro isnotreally boasting to the cashiers about the expansion into Syria. Find another bagel spot where you don’t have to listen to genocidal losers.

Solid bagels, much better than the large chains but not the absolute best small bagel shop in the DC area but I will return it was still very good.

Good bagels. Prices have skyrocketed but I guess they have everywhere.

The food is not worth having to deal with the angry little man that owns the place. How he is still in business is stupifying.

This bagel shop would be laughed out the 5 boroughs AND NJ, which must be how they ended up here.
The "New York" in this bagelry description is misleading-besides perhaps the reputation NY has for brusque service. Somehow both the bagels AND cream cheese lacked flavor, texture was off. The pumpernickel tasted like the mildest rye and wasn't even a full dark color.
Its often true that some of the best food gems in the area hide in strip malls with outdated furnishings and basic decor, but this one is Not That Thing.

This restaurant is a great discovery for bagel lovers! The recipes are varied, the ingredients used are fresh and well selected, and the flavors are really there. Every bite is a pleasure, and you feel that the bagels are prepared with care. It’s ideal for a gourmet breakfast or brunch.

That said, I was a little disappointed with the level of cleanliness on site. The tables were not cleaned immediately after the passage of customers, and some details such as the floor or the condition of the toilets left something to be desired. It's not catastrophic, but for an establishment that focuses so much on the quality of its dishes, a little more attention to hygiene would provide a truly impeccable experience.

In summary, I recommend this place for bagels, but I hope that next time the cleanliness aspect will be taken care of so that everything is perfect. I will come back with pleasure for the taste, hoping for an even more pleasant setting!

Yummy everything bagels! This no frills, neighborhood gem has some of the best bagels in the DC area. ~$5 for a toasted bagel with cream cheese.

Just what you expect from a bagel place, just with way more vegan options. A vast majority of the menu is vegan by default.

I’ve never experienced worse customer service in my life. The cashier and the gentleman packing orders berated me multiple times in our short interaction. I was so shocked all i could say was “you guys are SO friendly” because of that I will never be back. Food wise it was meh. I lived in NYC for many years and got better bagels at my corner bodega. Cream cheese was inconsistent the plain one was so hard it was impossible to spread, but the veggie and scallion were probably the highlight of an overall horrible experience.

The bagels are phenomenal and that’s why I go so often. The guys at the counter are always grumpy and lack basic conversational skills. It’s a special place regardless of that because the bagels are so good.

I am here at the restaurant now and I greeted the cashier. He or the other worker ge was talking either said hello, good morning, just nothing. That was the first strike. Waiting for my food in the dining area and it smells as if they haven't been cleaning thoroughly. Now the sandwich, I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich in an everything bagel... it was pretty solid. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. It was a solid 8/10 but I would get it to go, I wasn't very comfortable due to the mild odor.
