Every time I visit home, I make sure to stop here. Good is always made and delivered in a fairly decent time. And it's always hot.

This place is ok for a quick go too.. today my eggroll tasted burnt and I asked for extra sauce for both of our lunch specials and we got no sauce. My General Tso's was dry and my fiances triple delight was just ok. They did not give us sauce with the pu pu platter for wontons etc, the shrimp toast was grease soaked. They used to do a better job and they used to be great. I will most likely give them another try someday to see how it turns out.

Hi everyone, I just want to share with you all the very very terrible service this place have. Today i went and order 46$ off food and I ask the guy to give me a hot pepper sauce and he tried to charge me extra money which is supposed to be free, and have a bad attitude, so I ask for my money back. I went to a different carry out near that place and order the same food and the lady without ask her she give me two egg rolls and two hot peppers for free. I been buying Chinese food for 26 years and they always have good costumers service and know how to treat people but not this place!!!!!! Very disappointed whit this. Terrible service from that men

I would have to say the food is not to par. Chicken was rubbery. Fried rice is not yellow rice. Service was horrendous. Don’t think I’ll be returning. It’s a shame because I like to give business to mom and Pop’s but I don’t think this one is willing to care about customers and care about the food they’re making.

Their kung pao tofu is incredible! The tofu is cooked perfectly and just the right size for easy eating. Great tasting tofu, celery, peanuts, and carrots— alright, these folks know how to follow a good recipe. But mushrooms and large slices of just-soft bell pepper and a kung pao sauce you could drink? Now it's personal. Lots of love was put into this food. My guy is a lifelong connoisseur of takeout fries and Golden China has been the best we've tried by a long shot— and not even for a takeout but for all places that sell fries. Wish we lived closer! Best food we've had in a long while.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian/ vegan options include kung pao tofu, general tso tofu, and ma pao tofu.

Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options! And their soy sauce packets are gluten free.

Mom and Pop Chinese takeout. Good “classic” American-Chinese food. Steak and cheese sandwiches were good and then they changed the ingredients. When I complained that the sandwich was inedible, it fell on deaf ears. I can walk to the restaurant but won’t throw my money at people who have stopped caring about their customers. They even ignore customers who are physically present, delaying giving them food that’s already prepared in favor of grabbing more orders by phone. (Hint if you consider going in person.) Greed rules temporarily but never wins.

I had my cousin here from out of town, and she absolutely loved their steak and cheese, I love the fact that they really listen when you make your order, my fries are always crispy like I like them, my bread well toasted (who likes soggy bread) and their fried rice, lomein and wings are delish. really recommend them, their food is really good, I just think the actual store can use an update or paint. besides that they are great.

Small place. Big smiles. Great service. Good food.

Parking: They have five spots. The rest is paid parking on the street, there is a parking garage close by.

By far the best place for Chinese Food! Been to both locations: Georgia Ave and Old Columbia Pike. Clean, professional, polite and respectful. Best Spicy Shrimp, beef or chicken lomein, Fried rice, steak n cheese, fish sandwiches, etc.

Kid-friendliness: Great food choices for kids, teens and young adults

Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entry door for easy to get in and out

I gave this place another try after getting dry chicken last time. I got the sesame chicken this time and they got slick and put a whole bed of broccoli under the chicken to make it look like the container of chicken is full. I've noticed this is a common practice with these kind of restaurants so if you go there tell them no broccoli because they will try to short you on the amount of chicken you are paying for. The food wasn't terrible, but I will never eat here again. I gave them two chances.
