Ordered food thru Uber eats and this was my first time trying this place I love African food but this place I will never order from again the beef was so overcooked it was inedible the plantains were so dry and tasteless this was a waste of $20 now I have to spend more money to get food we can actually eat I will never order from this place ever again such a huge disappointment

A lot of people have been talking about this place so we decided to check it out. Ordered the okra soup, rice and stew and suya and a couple of drinks with friends. Reasonably price meals. Everything was spot on. Just ordered Uber eats from here. I got the Suya and Yuka , along with the 1-4th fish with plantains. Definetly a 3/5. Suya was a very small portion and looks like it was sautéed in a pan. That’s not how you make Suya. Plantains were nice, fish was okay. Would not order from here again.

I came here after work 10/6/2023. Place is remodeled and looks great. The bartenders were sub par. One young lady was busy helping another guest and she signaled to see the other bartender. She looked at me and shrugged me off to continue taking selfies and being on her phone. Im a bartender my self and that is just flat out wrong and disrespectful! She is there to serve drinks, that is how she makes her money. If she wants to be on social media and her phone she should look for a job that suits that better. There are instagram models and dancers at the very same club, that might be a better fit. Bartending is not her strong skill! Laziness and carelessness should not be a thing with a busy packed bar. I will not be returning for drinks.

Food was good! Came here to get suya and the guy at the door said everyone had to pay 10 dollars just to walk inside. I stood there while he stamped people he ‘knew’ - all 15 people. Just not my 2 girl friends and I. That’s disrespectful and a MONEY GRAB. The security, David, saw what happens and got the manger involved so we got in in the end ! My rating is for the security and Manager the guy at the door tonight needs to GO! Does not care about the business only pride.

Overpriced food. They say their Mexican crab elote dish is LUMP crab but it's all claw meat. Very bright lights which gives it a cafeteria feel with nightclub music. Servers are great

Good food. No fluff on this one. Not five star, but damn sure good! The service is always excellent. I mainly come here for when I'm in the mood for African cuisine and eats. Also, for an occasional happy hour too. The vibe is always chill and a laid back, with a mix of diverse folks. The bar and lounge is currently under renovation, but looks like it's going to be really nice once completed and definitely a good weekend spot once the summer hits. Recommendations on the food is the Goat Suya, Fried Croaker Dish and always Jollof Rice. I'll pass on the Beef Suya. It's a bit salty and on the tough side for me the last few times I've tried it. Other than that, it's all good with Golf Ultra Lounge. A great place to meet up with friends, break from the normal spots around the DMV or just to grab a bite to eat. The food is available for inside dining and takeout....pickup, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, etc.

OMG !!!! THEEE absolute best cassava leaf ive ever had . my fish was a LITTLE bit over cooked but i also ordered last minute! the rice wassssss goood. everything was just soo delicious to me . i will DEFINITELY be back. i think i found my new spot ?
