I craved PF Chang's but it was closed and thought why not try local? I ordered Chinese food from Human Manor on Christmas Day through Seamless for pickup. The estimated prep time was 30-40 minutes, and my food was ready when I got there about 35 minutes after I placed the order. The front desk staff (behind a big plastic divider) was immediately available and friendly. Kung Pao Chicken $14.00 The Kung Pao Chicken was a huge portion, which I'm always grateful for when I can make more than one meal out of a dish. It was a mix of white and dark meat and was chewy, felt like it was more skin than meat, and did not feel freshly made. Vegetable Lo Mein $12.00 The Vegetable Lo Mein was tasty, with slippery, well-cooked, flavorful noodles with plenty of sauce. There were a lot of broccoli heads in the dish. Vegetable Fried Rice $12.00 The Vegetable Fried Rice was a huge portion but did not look or taste appealing. It was hard, flavorless, and did not taste fresh. I did not enjoy the taste and just ate more of the lo mein instead.

We've always had a good time at Hunan Manor. It's a classic Chinese-restaurant menu, and all served hot and well prepared -- very good. We got take-out a couple times during the lock-down era, but it's so pleasant to be be in the restaurant again, sitting in the roomy booths, and having a moderately priced cocktail before the dinner. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive.

This is the best Chinese in silver spring. My wife's family has been going here for more than 30 years. I'm happy we are keeping that tradition alive. My only advice; eat all the sesame chicken upon ordering. Since they use all white meat (they really do), it doesn't reheat well. All the other food is terrific upon reheating.

It is back to being as good as 20 years ago. The best real chicken breast orange chicken, tasty lomein and best down to earth advice from the fortune cookies

I’m very happy with the service and food from Hunan Manor. The delivery was on time, actually earlier than I expected. The food was delicious and hot. Vegetables were crispy, sauces were seasoned well. The barbecue ribs and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The chicken fried rice was delicious . I asked for no onions on it and they honored my request. The only suggestion I have for them is to make the steamed dumplings with a thinner dough. The dough was too thick and made dunking into the soy sauce and then eating it very difficult.

This Restuarant has been around a long time. The interior is old and needs a serious upgrade. The food is average and the service is ok. There is nothing great.

This is probably the worst Chinese food ever spent my dollars on. I'll start with the egg rolls. They were absolutely disgusting, I couldn't tell what kind of meat they had inside (the little they put), and you can taste and smell that they were made in really old grease. I also ordered orange chicken (attempting to play it safe) and it was just flat out bad. The sauce itself was good but it couldn't disguise the taste of the overcooked chicken. The sauce of the chicken and the nice young man who gave me my food is the only reason I'll give 2 stars. Would not recommend.
