Ikko is the only place I'll have sushi at in Silver Spring. Delicious food with fresh ingredients, and the chefs and servers are so kind. My favorites are the sweet potato roll and the avacodo roll with cucumber.

10/10 recommend! We took our kids for their first sushi experience, and it was great. (Our kids are extremely picky eaters.) They loved the miso soup to start. They tried simple sushi rolls and went back for more. And they enjoyed the ramen. The staff was so kind and seemed experienced in serving children - providing training chop sticks and chocolate at just the right moments. As adults, the food tasted so good and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun! Definitely will try again!

Our neighborhood spot. Toro specials on wall are always good, and sushi combos in any variety have worked well for our family.

Our group loved Ikko Sushi. The rolls were fantastic. We also loved their seafood salad and the complimentary miso soup and fruit. The staff were friendly and attentive. Loved it!

I love Ikko Sushi. A local Sushi restaurant I like to go to sometimes. Recently, I had the lunch special Chirashi and that was really very good. I suggest it. The mix of sashimi with a big bowl of rice. It was delicious.
Tonight, New Years Eve, I had a spicy beef Ramen. That Ramen was really good. I don't know Ramen well, and this was yummy.
The noodles were tasty, the tofu tender, the beef was excellent, and there was a yummy egg. The broth was spicy. I suggest the spicy beef Ramen.
Also, the Chirashi Don was good. I've had yakisoba from them and Takoyaki that was excellent. Their seafood udon was good. It is really an interesting place. I suggest you try it out. They have great lunch specials.

Great experience in this area where it’s a sushi desert! The staff was so helpful and accommodating with my 1 year old and very quick with the service. We’ll be coming back!

Service was some of the worst I’ve had. Food was not good and left a lingering fishy taste. Super disappointed. Apparently this place used to be fantastic? Not sure what happened but will not be returning and would not recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere - sorry!!

The waitstaff were very attentive. The sushi was super fresh and delicious. We went post graduation for my son and he was excited to order a Party Boat. It was well worth the cost and quite impressive.

This is the best value sushi in Silver Spring. The fish is fresh and clean, the service is very good, and they have outdoor space near the NOAA wave pool. They are ground floor retail, and an easy walk from all of downtown.

I feel silly leaving this review now because I’ve lived in the area for seven years I’ve missed out on this spot. I feel like I found a hidden gem. Their fish is noticeably high-quality and the staff is above and beyond the best in the area. I just have to say I know I’m gonna keep going back now.
