Not happy , I always get food from Irene’s pupusas wheaton location , glenmont and now from Colesville, I ordered a chicken soup and seafoof soup, they need to improve and provide better presentation to the carry out food . we paid $38 for two soups and not satisfied smh 😠😠

I was craving a soup and wanted to support this business. I got the sopa de marisco but they need to change the name to sopa de chile verde because that’s what I mostly got in my soup. Second, my mom got a sopa de gallina and BEFORE calling she asked two times to make sure it was asada ( a la plancha) and the worker who answered said yes. My mom had a feeling to check once we got there but she trusted the worker. Came home and it was fried which she didn’t want because she asked TWICE before and the worker did not say the correct thing. I’m all about supporting food businesses but it’s one thing when I spend money on food and get disappointed.

A local restaurant with authentic Salvadorian food. The pupusas, steak & shrimp and Chivech were outstanding. Very nice family run restaurant.

Overall a good menu selection. Not a large amount of vegetarian options but enough. Plain tables and chairs or booths. Friendly staff and good food.

I ordered pupusas and a taco- the taco was very good. The pupusas were okay. The other Irene's pupusas restaurants have better pupusas. Im definitely going back but only because this location is near my house. The staff and service was great. Im sure this place will get better :)

I was excited because we were going to have a pupuseria near our house. Unfortunately, both times we've been there, it was a terrible experience.

The first time, there was a hair in my food. They added a tip percentage to the bill without asking us and didn’t even offer a discount for the incident.

The second time, I ordered two carne asada plates, and they didn’t complete the order. I called to let them know, and they said they could give me the missing beans next time… What an unpleasant experience and poor service.

Don't let the looks, keep you from enjoying this gem. Friendly staff. We had cheese papusas, beef tacos, pork and cheese papusa and grilled shrimp plate. The 6 large shrimp were perfectly cooked and the rice and refried beans delicious We were there at 6:30 Quiet and not crowded Go!!!

This little restaurant in the Langley Park shopping center has some of the best Pupusas in the area. I always thought that a Pupusa was a Pupusa but that is not the truth at all. I got the cheese Pupusa and mixed with the little salad and red sauce that they give you was a real delicious meal. This place was highly recommended by the Washingtonian Magazine as a cheap eats and they were absolutely correct.

My wife and I tried this authentic pupuseria because we used to know some el salvadoreans and got to like pupusas. Pupusas and tamales are under $2 each and horchata or tamarindo are inexpensive so we can get a satisfying meal with beverage for about $12 with tip. It's _not_ fancy but it's enjoyable for something different.
