Went there twice I got the stew peas it was salty . I give a second try and get goat soup I can make goat soup better than this and I was raise in America

I spent over $100 on food for my family, and it was a complete disappointment. Everything was dry, overcooked, and barely edible. For the price I paid, I expected quality and flavor, but instead we ended up throwing most of it away. Definitely not worth the money or the hassle. I won’t be ordering from here again.

I’m not Jamaican but this is not jerk chicken. Please give people what they paid for!! For the price of the food this place is not it. I’ll give the presentation 8/10 but who cares?

Service is bad they ran out of two sides and still tried to charge me full price for two sides that they didn’t have and when I asked can she replace the two sides with a scoop of Mac and cheese she said she wud have to not onli charge me full price for half a meal but also charge me extra for the scoop of Mac and cheese ABSOLUTELY NOT

Island Quizine Jamaican Restaurant is a true gem in Maryland. From start to finish, the customer service was nothing short of amazing warm, attentive, and filled with genuine island hospitality.

As a native New Yorker with real Jamaican roots, I’ve had my fair share of Jamaican food, but this spot truly stands out. The patty was hands down the best I’ve had in Maryland flaky crust, rich filling, and seasoned to perfection. It reminded me of home.

The curry goat? Absolutely incredible. Tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right it fell off the bone and was bursting with authentic flavor. The jerk pork was smoky, spicy, and juicy, exactly how jerk is supposed to taste. Every bite was a reminder of how Jamaican food should be done.

Petrena deserves a special shoutout. From the refreshing sorrel to the sweetest mangoes, she delivered service with a smile and made the whole experience even better. She’s a star and really brought everything together.

If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine with top-tier customer service, Island Quizine is the place. They’ve earned a loyal customer in me, and I’ll definitely be back

Excellent! Today was our first visit to Island Quizine and we were not disappointed. The food and service were top tier! We got the Ital Stew, Garlic Broccoli and the Veggie Stirfry. Our dishes literally tasted home cooked, and we so appreciated the option of adding no salt - we ordered on the website, and there was a space on the form to make adjustments. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but I appreciate the time and effort that Island Quizine dedicated to making sure everything was just right. We will definitely be back!

HORRIBLE FOOD!!! Nothing you receive is as pictured from the menu or posters around the store. Ordered curry chicken and it tasted like a sweet chicken teriyaki tv dinner and the Mac and cheese was soo fake like it came from a box. Aside from the beef patties I will not waist my money on them again. It’s just not authentic at all.

The lady at the counter was fairly nice and made suggestions.

It was my 1st and last time here. I'm a vegetarian so I usually just order sides when I dine out but this place happened to have tofu so I gave it a try.

It was disgusting but this isn't the only place with terrible tofu, I was most upset about the mac and cheese and supposed cabbage.

As you can see per the pictures it looks like coleslaw without sauce instead of cabbage and the Mac and cheese looks and taste like something out of a box.

I usually don't leave bad reviews, if I don't like a place I just never go back, but because I drove 20 minutes to get here and paid over $30 for my stuff I felt the need to.

I ate as much as I could before throwing it out.

Had the curry chicken lunch special and it was absolutely delicious the chicken was so tender it fell if the bone and almost melted in my mouth and had so much flavor with just a little kick to it the rice was perfectly cooked and also packed full of flavor the plantains were nice and soft and cooked to the perfect temperature
