This place is one of our favorites where we meet with friends for a weekday dinner. Every time we go the service is outstanding, the flavor of the food is amazing and the ambiance is calm and inviting. We always leave full and happy!

We recently ordered catering from Jewel of India for the NCAIA 20th Anniversary celebration, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The food was excellent—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we received many compliments on the quality and variety of the dishes.

The service was top-notch, and the entire team was professional, responsive, and attentive to our needs throughout the planning process. It was a pleasure working with them, and they made the catering arrangements seamless and stress-free.

A special thank you to owner Dr. Anand Poojary, who was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident every step of the way.

We highly recommend Jewel of India for catering and look forward to working with them again for future events.

Been coming here for years. Can't believe haven't reviewed it yet. Five stars all the way. As an added bonus, always good to talk to the owner Mr. Pujara when he's on site!

We ordered for pick-up, and so we didn't stay in the restaurant this time but we've eaten there previously and really enjoy the ambience.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and suggested dishes I could eat with some dietary restrictions.
The food was flavorful and it really can't be beat!

I'm a big fan of Indian food and Jewel of India definitely did not fail to impressive. Everything ordered was very good, including the cocktails. The lamb vindaloo was perfectly spiced. On top of the excellent food, the service was friendly and excellent.

One downside at really good Indian places is that the service can be a little a little slow. Not so at Jewel. Very rapid service.

Jewel isn't the cheapest eat, but quality is more than commensurate with price.

My husband and I get take out from here at least once a month. I don’t think you can get any better than this place in Maryland. The food is SO GOOD, and the people that work there are so kind. This is the restaurant I go to when I want to celebrate because it’s (by far) my favorite restaurant.

I’m, of course, a fan of the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. But, if you’re feeling mildly adventurous, I highly recommend the chicken xacuti. I’ve never seen this dish at other Indian restaurants, but it’s now my favorite meal.

If I were on death row, this would be my last meal.

This is the BEST Indian restaurant I ever have nearby! Ramji served us and made us feel really welcomed. The food is also delicious and served in great amount. I would definitely come back!

If you want to chill in a solid place and have some of the best food of your life, stop right at this spot. Friendly staff, memorable interactions, good food. And when I say good food I mean it. There’s no kinda of drama here, excellent wait staff and superb cook staff along side a pleasantly calm atmosphere.
