I was surprised to find an overly oily, and mildly undercooked rice in the vegetarian biryani I ordered. I was surprised because we chose this place after seeing the extraordinary reviews, and the premium price I was charged $20+ for this dish felt totally unjustified.

The Jewel of India, epitomizes classic and authentic Indian cuisine. Bright on the menu, one can find diversified culinary heritages of India. Not only fine food takes the dining experience here to another level; outstanding warm service does. Attentive and genuinely warm staff place every guest to a special space which can be nothing else than Indian hospitality. Adding on ambience of light and Indian classical music, it is a sumptuous, great experience that lures one back for more. Whether your love of Indian spices is an old affair or you are just coming to these eclectic flavors.

I’ve been coming here for years actually and this is my first review! Food is always amazing and the staff is always so welcoming and kind. Raule is AWESOME and has been there for almost 15 years and is now the manager. My family and I love it - authentic Indian food!

Been eating here for a quarter of a century and never gone home disappointed. Easy to get to, easy to park, pleasant relaxing interior (love the booth tables), no loud music so conversation is easy, nice selections on the menu for non-meat-eaters, consistent quality, good service, reasonable price. I eat here with family - with book group - friends - farewell dinners (there's a special room you can reserve on the side of the restaurant if you have a large party). I'm a big fan! So is Tom Sietsema :-)

Placed an order to pick up and it was ready before the promised time! We had chicken makhani and garlic naan! Super delicious. Only complaint would be that the chicken was in large chunks, but there was plenty of it!!!

The Gobi Manchurian here is incredible - get it if you like wings, get it if you’re vegetarian, get it if you love your tastebuds… basically don’t skip it for any reason. Everything else was fantastic too - very attentive service and nice ambiance and all the food was yummy.

Alright so I can't say much about the food here except my wife did get her corn soup and I got my masala tea and yeah they were good sure but we also ordered tandoori chicken a bread basket and lal mass which was supposed to be a lamb dish it sounded good I was super excited. I had a craving for Indian all week and we never got any of it. we sat for an hour and we watched a four top who came in after us get there food and three two top table who also came in after us get there food mind you they came in like 10-15 min after us. no one not the waiter ,the maiterdee ,the manager who was right there talking to a couple doing a wedding tasting (congrats to them)ask "hey how are you" "did you need something" anything nothing we finally had enough when my wife watched as the fourth table got their food before us. We had high hopes the place was actually nice the maiterdee had a cool burgundy sharkskin suit on I complimented him on it we thought it was gonna be cool but nah a whole hour and no food crazy. I'd avoid it unless your white I guess some one else mentioned them being racist on these reviews didn't believe it but now idk every table that got there food first just so happened to be white maybe it's coincidence.
