I had food that was catered by this establishment at a Nigerian party a few weeks ago and it was great. When my friend informed me that they have a few locations I decided that we should make that our next brunch spot. So we did.

Our waiter, Victory was very nice and pleasant. She was able to navigate around a stupid policy to ensure that we were satisfied. The stupid policy: I ordered ogbono and eba. The ogbono finished while I still had eba and meat left to eat. I asked for a little extra of the obe to finish my eba, but that took some back and forth to get more obe to finish my eba. At one point we just said, no worry just charge us extra for it if you have to. Any Nigerian would understand needing more obe to finish your swallow and it's not like I'm trying to get "extra" food. Anyway, she brought more obe and she said there was no extra charge.

My point is the portion of the ogbono was so small to begin with and it's not like I'm asking for extra meat.

I read some reviews first and I was determined to try the spot for myself. There was a mention of water not being served, which I thought was a joke, but the joke was on me. When we asked for tap water to accompany an order of drinks, we were told that they don't give free water. They only have Smart water. This was a big bottle of water that no one could finish, at a sitting, in a restaurant.

Dear owner, please provide water with every food order. Like another reviewer mentioned, the food is too hot for water to not be provided.

I really wanted to give all five stars, but I cannot in good conscience do that. Water is so basic.

Absolutely phenomenal Nigerian food. Perfectly smokey jollof. The abula was great! The service was really good. Shout out to Victory. Made us feel at home.

im a VERY frequent customer and have been disappointed many times before this review honestly. its either they’re not following order instructions or they’re missing out part of the order eg delivering my soup without the swallow like im supposed to drink soup alone. and its not like the food is cheap. yesterday i specifically called and gave instructions regarding my order and it still somehow got messed up and i couldn’t even eat it $40 after and waiting an hour. my fault for still spending hard earned money on them.

Very good! Especially the service.
