Kaldi’s has excellent food, service and atmosphere! I love getting work done here or just chatting with a friend. The food is excellent every time, huge portions so just FYI on that. The only frustrating thing is the WiFi can be in and out sometimes.

What an adorable and affordable Cafe in the DMV! Packed with delicious vegetarian options, you'll find fresh dishes all over the menu. The space is large and spread out (not crowded) and would be a nice place to spend an afternoon. Super fast service and super strong coffee. Loved it! Will be back!

Neighborhood Gem! They have the best breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast. I have taken both friends and family here, and it always leaves a lasting impression! Great ambiance

Nice place for a coffee and breakfast. Order and pay by phone at table. Our breakfast sandwiches were good.

Heavenly. I've gone to hundreds of coffee shops. I can't think of one that is better. I can't even think of a single thing Kaldi's could do better. It's absolutely perfect.

I came to telework and eat lunch. I enjoyed that you can order at the table, the sandwich (with turkey bacon) and spiced pumpkin latte I ordered hit the spot, and the service was great… would def be returning 😊

Nice coffee shop with a chill atmosphere. Perfect spot to relax or get some work done in the area. I ordered the salmon omelette and it was delicious.

I love the tacos. They are not deep fried but still have some crispiness to them. Taste, portion and I ingredients all good

Service is very nice with table delivery considering a $1 tip is probably fine here.

Atmosphere is very nice. Get a bite to eat in a popping social hub with nice AC. Read a book, enjoy ;)

Food’s good, but the wifi is completely unusable. You might occasionally get a few minutes of actual internet access on it, then it drops. Your laptop stays connected to the access point the whole time; it’s just that their network stops reaching the internet at random and for long stretches.

Let’s not waste time—this is exactly why reviews matter. Sometimes you’re not just looking for food, you’re looking for a vibe. And Kaldi’s? Babyyy… it’s giving restaurant-adjacent. More like an upscale coffee shop that happens to serve a solid breakfast—if that makes sense.

Service? Friendly. Timely. No complaints there. The space? Aesthetically pleasing—very much giving “tech CEO on a coffee break” mixed with “grad student on deadline.” Folks were working, brunching, and espresso-sipping in peace. Now, I came expecting a full-on restaurant situation… but was still pleasantly surprised.

I ordered the veggie omelet (chef’s kiss), the potatoes (needed more flavor—give me sass, not bland stares), and three pancakes that were fluffy and flavorful. HOWEVER—and this is where it gets shady—they gave me what I can only describe as a teardrop of syrup. Sir… what am I supposed to do with this? When I asked for more, the waiter hit me with a “We charge for extra syrup” energy like I was gonna flinch over a $1.50. Sir… bring the syrup. We not about to argue over a side condiment.

Now, because I’m dedicated to the cause, I also tried the salmon tacos—and listen, they transported me. I felt like I had stepped off a side street in Mexico City. Y’all really did that.

Final word? I’d absolutely come back. Great for a quiet meal, cost-effective, classy crowd, and the food hit just enough to make me forgive the stingy syrup drama. A solid 4.5 stars with potential to be 5 once the syrup flows freely.

A cool place with a nice layout. Only downside was app only ordering and the staff rushing us out the door 45 minutes before closing

I wish I'd known beforehand that this was do-it-yourself style. Order from a QR code, get your own water (from single-use disposable cups!), and good luck if you have food allergies trying to ask a question. The servers must be trained to not make eye contact with anyone. I finally flagged someone down to ask some questions, and he was visibly annoyed. Then my bowl came covered in coconut, which wasn't listed on the menu. Food was fine. That's it -- just fine. Kinda bland but not offensive. Even the bathroom didn't have a hook for my purse and the tp holder was falling off the wall (with a hole in the wall) so the tp was sitting on top of the trash can.
