For some reason people keep having bad experiences with Kenny's, but I had/have good times with them. We don't go inside the restaurant but we order over the phone. My favorite dish from Kenny's is a steak and cheese combo with fries and a ginger ale. Sometimes it does take a long time to get here but, it's worth the wait. The food is very good! I like the way they make the fries and the steak and cheese sub. The fries have a perfect amount of salt and the sub is by far the best thing ever! It has a great taste because they do good seasonings! And they know my family because we order there all the time! Overall, the best Chinese restaurant ever!

Best Chinese restaurant ever! The service is extremely good with excellent staff. The food is so delicious such as the fried rice and chicken wings. The mumbo sauce is also really tasty. I could feel the sweetness from the sauce touch each individual tastebud, so yummy ?. The wait time is fast, they got my food in about 5 minutes (super impressive). I don't know why people are hating. Ever since they’ve changed owners, things have been going uphill. This restaurant has plenty of negative reviews but for what? The food tasted good, delivery took 45 minutes which is quite alright. In my opinion it’s because people don’t know what they’re looking for! The one thing I love and always get is the Steak and Cheese combo deal. You get a plethora of fries but also a nice and juicy drink to go with it! Very worth it in my opinion. Another healthier alternative is the chicken Broccoli. This joint is pack with protein and is very useful, furthermore might I say that if the food bores you there is plenty of good food in this place.Vegetarian options: My dearest cousin is vegetarian and this place still serves! Their options are incredible. Steam broccoli or just regular mixed vegetables. Theirs also a vegetable roll which is nice.

I’ve been to Kenny’s sub shop plenty of times and tried few things on the menu, but this particular review is for the wings and fries which is my number one go to staple.The one thing I can say is when I get the wings and fries is that the food is always hot and it’s sad to mention something like temperature of food dealing with restaurants nowadays. I understand they get overwhelmed with orders or y’all try hard to accommodate everyone, but the temperature of the food being how it should be when I first get my food shouldn’t be the first thing I talk about, but it’s one thing I appreciate; which is HOT food.With that being said, the the wings never disappointed me because they’re a nice size, good portion for 4 wings, and overall are very good flavor and they are juicy. The fries are also cooked to my liking. I know some people may like their fries in particular way, but when I get my fries from Kenny’s, they’re usually done in the way that I like them; hot, kind of crispy, crunchy and kind of mushy (yes I said that, but this is how I like them so to each its own). They also have salt and pepper on them too which is great.The only thing stopping is review from being five stars is the mumbo sauce (ITS GOOD) BUT I know different carryouts around the DMV do they mumbo sauce how they do them, but Kenny’s could use a little bit more thickness consistency because it is rather loose … but other than that, I don’t mind it ?P. S. I also got a frozen half-and-half that I didn’t show in this picture, (that joint was like that!!) but I’ll upload that next time when I take a picture of it.

Let me say this first...you have to be a fan of wings from the carry out to appreciate Kenny's! I'm a bougie girl but baby I love a good wings and fries situation from the Chinese restaurant. The funny thing is that I rarely eat Chinese food, but I'll eat wings and fries at least once a month! OK...Kenny's Sub Shop is your typical Carryout. Giving very much corner Carryout aesthetics lol! They selling Chinese, Burgers, and Subs! I've only had the wings and I love them! They offer Mumbo sauce (it's not as sweet, which ain't love). I give this spot at 10/10 for the wings. I order on Uber Eats and it arrived quick and piping hot! Service is always good when I go int too. **One caveat, Kenny ain't plucking all the feathers off those wings So if that's an issue for you, you won't like Kenny's** Enjoy!!!

My mind is blown at how this place is rated so low. Was recommended this place by my boss who suggested the wings with mumbo sauce and fries. So we ordered online for pickup a 5 piece wing with fries ($12.85 extra mumbo sauce 35 cents) and general tso chicken with fried rice and egg roll ($10.95) So first off, portions are huge especially for the price. It was a full sized box full of rice and a very decent portion of chicken. Considering most places have the small half sized containers for the combo platters, I consider this a VERY good deal. The fried rice was some of the best I've had with generous portions of onion and sprouts and not too dry or greasy. The chicken was also done well with the sauce being the right consistency and amount as well as not over the top sweet. Onto the second meal, the fries were about your average likely frozen crinkle cut fries but not too hard not too soggy. The wings were of a very good size (think actual chicken wing not the little ones you'd get at a sports bar). They were slightly drier than I'd personally like, but it was meant to go with the mumbo sauce so it wasn't really an issue. The sauce container is a good size for the wings and the extra was only 35 cents which is really good price wise. The flavor of the sauce was delicious almost like sweet and sour meets sweet chili. We'll definitely be back.
