I was so excited to stumble upon a Senegalese food truck at the RFK Market this summer in NE DC! 😍 It instantly took me back to my trip to Senegal—where I fell in love with lamb dibi, poulet yassa, and the amazing ginger and bissap (hibiscus) drinks. The food was quick, healthy, and soooo flavorful. And with Senegalese music playing in the background, the vibe was perfect and the owners were easy on eyes- tall, dark, and very handsome! Treat yourself to an authentic taste...
The food is amazing. However be wary of the length of the wait. I’ve been to this place three times now & every time it’s been a +20 minute wait. Today I was waiting on the basic lamb platter & French fries for 35 minutes, & watched a bunch people that ordered after me served first. I think the only reason they even remembered my food is cause I was starting to giving them a look & was about to say something.
