Went out for a friend’s birthday. The food was DELICIOUS and our server Kyle was very attentive and gave us a lil desert treat on the house. Highly recommend, great atmosphere all around.

Great and fresh sushi! The environment was busy, however we were served quickly and our server was absolutely lovely. I highly recommend the Tiger Roll if you enjoy tempura and eel!

My family are regulars. I was initially worried that opening a Japanese place just two blocks from Sushi Jin wouldn’t be good for either restaurant but we’ve been going to both at least 1/mo since Kushi opened. Outside of sushi, their menus are pretty different and have their own strengths. Highly recommend Kushi’s chicken katsu and curries. Kushi wings are also great. Staff has always been nice and there’s usually another table with kids, like us. But it’s not crazy. It’s a great space but half the time it can get a bit (cooking) smoky.

Kid-friendliness: This is not a place for rowdy kids since it’s one big open space for everyone to hear and see anything that might go crazy. But the staff is flexible and perfectly welcoming for grade-school aged kids. There’s also never a line for either of the (gender-less) bathrooms.

I think it’s actually the best sushi I had in MD. Ordered the Volcano roll. Staff suggested it. It was pretty good. Had a really good time there

Opened with the spicy edamame and followed with 3 rolls. Food came out very quickly and was very fresh. My server charlotte was very attentive and gave me some helpful tips on my order to make sure I got things that I would enjoy. Would definitely recommend.

Dined in tonight and had a wonderful experience with amazing service from Hiwot and Darya. I recommend trying the seared salmon and fried ice cream. I look forward to returning and making this my new favorite sushi spot

I ordered through DoorDash and there's no option to change smoked salmon for fresh salmon, so I started calling as soon as I made the payment, it took more than 10 minutes for me to be answered and the attendant said she couldn't do anything anymore.
I don't eat smoked salmon and I'm a regular at Kusshi, but this time I'm completely disappointed with the service.

I do not recommend it since one of the people in charge or group leader treats the delivery people very badly, it is like unethical and professional, he should have more supervision from the owner of that restaurant

Had the lunch bento set on a slow Friday afternoon. Place was clean and orderly. Service was pleasant and unobtrusive. Food came relatively quickly and was absolutely value for money, pretty authenic and big portions. Tasted friend's ramen and that was good as well.
