We love La Fonda Paisa. We have been going for many years. They have great Colombian breakfast. Arepas are simple but delicious. The ajiaco is a must for when is rainy or cold. The empanadas are super delicious and great for parties. We have ordered many times empanadas for events and everybody always ask us where they are from. The only room for improvent would be to give aji for the empanadas. They are always super stingy with the aji (empanadas sauce).

A friend recommended me, he said the chicharrones were great. My first time in a Colombian restaurant. First of all is not a restaurant, is a store that serves hot food, desserts but mostly they sell products from Colombia like, coffee, beans , cookies, clothes, flags, etc which you can buy from any Latino,Hispanic or international grocery store. Is a small place, with a couple of seats and tables. The waiting time was more than 30 minutes but we were pleasantly patient. When...

Nice restaurant and good service here.
Unlike the other one in Gaithersburg, I was disappointed with the service of 2 cashiers, a Venezuelan and a blonde Colombian, I don't plan to return there and apart from the fact that I got a cockroach in my food.
