I had an incredible dining experience at this fantastic restaurant, where the food was delicious. The service was outstanding; the staff was genuinely friendly and exceptionally attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The ambience created an inviting and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for out casual gathering. The traditional décor and soft background music made it a truly relaxing environment. I was thoroughly impressed and can wholeheartedly say that I will definitely be returning for another visit! Thank you for helping make my friend's birthday special!

Incredible priced happy hour from 4-7 Monday- Friday. Only place my friends and I could find with a mojito included in the happy hour. Jessica was a great bartender and server!!

This is our favorite restaurant , simply because the lamb chops are always incredibly delicious. A simple, well prepared meal. What's nice about it is it has never varied; over the last 5 or so years the marinated lamb chops have always been incredibly tasty. We go to a lot of restaurants in the DMV and with a few exceptions we've had good to superb, and few horrendous experiences. The most amazing so far has been Minibar; the horrendous I will not mention...! I rank Malinche high not because it is a Michelin star place but rather it has NEVER failed us. A Simple neighborhood restaurant with really good, and always good, food, and with great service. A couple of times we have called ahead to have the lamb chops ready, and everything is set up for us on our arrival. The food is called "Mexican" on some sites but it is really focused on Mexican/Spanish tapas. Truthfully there are a few other restaurants that are like this - and fancier and with more choices, but we always come back, in between going to some of the gems in the DMV. Because, unlike some of those "gems" which can disappoint, this place so far never has. La Malinche is an interesting, somewhat controversial name. Comes from the name of Cortes' translator, a remarkable woman who accomplished a lot. in very very tough circumstances.

The food was exceptional, including the drinks, but what truly stood out was the service—it was outstanding. Every dish, including the desserts, exceeded my expectations. The restaurant offers a wonderful blend of Spanish and Mexican cuisine. We opted for the Spanish dishes, and everything was fantastic, especially the paella. I’m already looking forward to our next visit to try the Mexican offerings!

We did bottomless brunch and it was amazing. Each plate was so delicious - the sweet potato pancakes were some of the best I've ever had. French toast, chorizo omelet, avocado toast, and homefries were all to die for. And the selection of sangria was so tasty and fun! Great place to converse with friends and the staff is top-notch. Service was impeccable. Sunday brunch here is not to be missed!

Nice place to eat after a show at AFI theater across the street. Nice blend of Spanish and Latin American tapas. Would eat there again.

Consistently a favorite. Best deal in town for brunch. They use fresh, high quality ingredients so a dish as simple as avocado toast shines. Highly recommended.
