The worst food on earth no type of test at all embarrassing they should close this place down ewwwwww 🤮🤢
If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Ethiopia right here in town, look no further than Langano Ethiopian Bar & Restaurant. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and traditional decor set the stage for a truly memorable dining experience.
The food is simply exceptional — rich, flavorful, and deeply authentic. The injera is perfectly spongy with just the right tang, pairing beautifully with a vibrant selection of wot (stews). We tried the tibs and kitfo, both of which were absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection. The vegetarian platter is also a must, offering a delightful variety of lentils, greens, and other classic dishes that showcase the heart of Ethiopian cuisine.
Beyond the food, the service is top-notch. The staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing Ethiopian culture and hospitality. They were happy to explain the dishes and even offered recommendations on the best combinations.
Whether you’re already a fan of Ethiopian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Langano is an outstanding choice. This restaurant does a wonderful job honoring Ethiopia’s rich culinary traditions. Highly recommended — we can’t wait to come back!
My recent dining experience did not meet my expectations. I encountered a wait time that exceeded one hour and fifteen minutes for my order, which appeared to have been overlooked. Upon inquiring about the status of our order, multiple staff members approached me, each requesting the same details regarding our selection. This redundancy indicated a concerning lack of coordination among the team. Moreover, it was evident that preferential treatment was extended to VIP customers and regular patrons who were personally known to the staff. We observed other guests arriving, engaging warmly with the servers, and receiving their meals promptly, which further highlighted the disparity in service. Overall, the extended wait time and perceived disregard for our experience were indeed disappointing. Based on this experience, I find myself unable to recommend this establishment. I had previously encountered a negative experience but chose not to provide feedback at that time; upon my return, I realize it was unwise to give it another opportunity.
Unfortunately, our experience at this Ethiopian restaurant was very disappointing. We waited over an hour, and our food never arrived. During that time, it was clear that the staff prioritized the VIP section and male customers over women — several men who arrived after us were served promptly, while we were ignored.
The waitress did not communicate with us at all — no updates, no apologies, nothing. We tried to be patient, but eventually had to leave the restaurant angry and hungry. Poor service and lack of basic courtesy ruined what we hoped would be an enjoyable meal.
Would not recommend based on this experience.

First, Delicious!
First time in a long while since I had Ethiopian food and this place didn’t disappoint.
Called and ordered for pick up. (20 minutes)
The online menu via cellphone was a scrolling adventure; however, it provided good descriptions if you’re not familiar with the food.
The spice level was mild.
The staff were very nice.
Plenty of parking, in strip mall/shopping plaza.
Amazing food
The overall rating is lower because of all the extra charges. The main course does not come with a side; you have to pay for that separate. The injera bread is a sperate charge, and the additional charge is not listed on the menu. I found that to be dishonest. Also, the additional liquor charge, in the form of tax, is not listed. Unfortunately, the service, the atmosphere, and the food is very good. I enjoyed sitting there.

Unpleasant experience. I don’t recommend this place.
The food is delicious and plentiful, with many vegetarian options. And the service is prompt and friendly.
The atmosphere is mostly inviting, as well. But the evening we visited, the music was a bit too loud for the best conversation.
