Disappointing. I had diner in various Matchbox locations and I was surprised that at the Silver Spring location, the recipes don't seem to be followed with fidelity. Our pizza were overly sweet, I don't think the honey was actually honey but rather the cheap king of pancake syrup you find at Ihop. Our waitress was kind but we did not see her much. My Hendricks & tonic was not Hendricks. Matchbox brand, please check your franchisees once in a while.

We came to Matchbox in Silver Spring for brunch and were seated in the bar area. The food itself was decent, but unfortunately the service completely ruined the experience. We overheard the bartenders saying they were down a barback and had to pick up extra work, which we tried to be understanding about. Anyone who's worked in a bar knows brunch can be hectic. That said, the attitude from the server/bartenders was unnecessary and unprofessional. We asked for water and waited nearly 20 minutes while other tables around us were served water and drinks almost immediately—some of them larger parties. When I went up to the bar to ask about the water, I was told they were “busy” and “working on it,” yet we continued to watch other tables get served without issue. When we did ask questions or follow up, we were met with attitude instead of basic customer service. We did the bottomless food and drinks, but it honestly wasn't worth the price. We only received one plate and two drinks each before deciding to pay and leave because we felt neglected the entire time. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but feeling ignored and brushed off makes it hard to enjoy a meal—especially at that price point. I'd consider coming back for the food, but not for brunch in the bar area unless the service seriously improves.
Overall I definitely recommend this restaurant. It gives a great overall cute casual vibe. The service was great, the staff were very nice and friendly. The price was great. The drinks were great. The food was good too. The mini burgers were great. The shrimp Alfredo pizza was good. The steak and eggs were okay but eatable, the potatoes on the side were great. It's a great brunch option.

We went for my daughter's birthday. The vibe was great. Love the DJ. My server was very good. Although we didn't get the brunch it was a great price. We just ordered off of the menu. I would go back again.

Came for brunch and had a blast enjoyed every single meal I ate, so you pay $42 for unlimited meals for 2 hours and I also had unlimited martinis for $25. When I say I was full full and it did not disappoint at all they have a live Dj until 4pm, they have a taco bar, cotton candy station, popcorn station that you can also get from complimentary. This was the best experience a girl could have. Mt waitress GG was AMAZING!! She was on point explained everything. You gotta check it out.
