After today's visit to Mi Rancho in Downtown Silver Spring I am highly disappointed in their customer service and lack of communication. Our server was very serious, spoke in a very low tone, and was just overall very unfriendly. Looking around I noticed her demeanor was completely different with the other table she was serving. A "medium well done" steak was ordered but was brought an overdone steak instead. One of the older gentlemen wearing a white collar shirt came over to assist, (I assume he is one of the managers but am not sure), was made aware...in less than 10 mins another steak was brought out only this one was under cooked and bloody, at this point appetite has been ruined. Manager was called over again where he showed frustration, attitude. and then proceeded to walked off completely disregarding us with no solution, eventually that order was taken off our bill. Upon time to pay server made it seem that we could not split the check saying we should have informed her at first, typically that is asked by the server is it not? We split the orders for her as she wrote it down but was still incorrect as she brought the separate checks. Each check was already added a gratuity of $9.99, after that experience I would have not left that amount. We will not be returning to this establishment or recommending to family and friends.***In response....as I mentioned the second steak that was brought out was UNDER COOKED AND BLOODY, we DID NOT take ANY food home, it was left on the table, there are so many places to eat in Silver Spring and we choose your establishment, very poor character on behalf of management, truly very disappointing!

Love this place! The food is delicious, the drinks are strong (but can be expensive), and the servers are friendly. There is a large covered outdoor seating area, but it is very noisy and there will be at least 4 or 5 birthdays on a typical night. Gives a festive atmosphere. Parking on the street or in the garage on Cameron Street is easy.Vegetarian options: You can get bean and cheese enchiladas, or cheese quesadillas.

Delicious authentic food with a variety of options to choose from. The service is amazing and the owner always gives us a warm welcome when we visit. The atmosphere is homey, especially upstairs. We love everything about this restaurant.
We sat under the heated covered patio. The staff and service were wonderful. The food was absolutely amazing. My husband and I circled back again a week later. This place doesn’t disappoint.

We stopped by Mi Rancho because our other dinner plans fell through. First of all, I was quite pleased and surprised by the MASSIVE outdoor space. I knew Mi Rancho had an outdoor area, but I didn't know it was so large. Thus, this is restaurant is good for larger parties. While the outdoor area is huge, the noise can be a bit loud. Service was so-so. On one hand, our server were very nice and cheerful. However, I thought the service to be a bit slow. In Mi Rancho's defense, I think the restaurant was short-staffed during our visit because I did not see too many servers for the large space. In cases like these, I would highly recommend ordering your drinks and food at the same time instead of ordering drinks, then ordering food once the drinks arrive. The food (like the service) was so-so. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't amazing. I had the beef enchiladas, and I thought they were pretty bland. Although my dish was kind of bland, the restaurant does provide a generous amount of food so you will not leave hungry. Overall, I thought Mi Rancho was a decent spot that's great for large groups in a low-key, chill environment.

I visited this place for the first time with my husband. All I can say is that we had an amazing experience! People in this restaurant is very friendly, they are so kind, they make you feel as part of their family; one of the owners of the place is going to every single table talking to people, not just asking about the food or the place, he shows that he cares about all their consumers, they make you feel really important! Food is delicious!
