I had to write this review to applaud the amazing customer service I had with this store and particularly Katherine. I called from Hawaii at 9 am when they opened to ask about cakes that were available as I wanted to use a delivery app to have a cake delivered that same day to my niece. Katherine went above and beyond to help. She offered to take my order over the phone and have it routed to a delivery service and save me from an extra step ( and a few dollars). And she managed to make it happen quickly - delivered to my niece within 45 min of my call! Really impressed with the service and bravo Katherine! Thank you.

Love their cakes. But service could have been better when I asked if they can change my cake to a bigger cake. They said no. I haven't touched what I purchased over the phone so I was surprised of the 8inch when I got there. I would have preferred the 10 inch for my son's Bday, but didn't realize till I got there to pick it up. They said no. Well I guess they did not need the up sell.

My experience today at this location was extremely unprofessional from start to finish.
I called around 4:04 PM to place an order over the phone, but was told I couldn’t. The manager, Valerie, personally instructed me to come in at 6:00 PM instead. Google lists their closing time as 8:00 PM, so I arrived early at 5:50 PM — only to be met with impatience and confusion. A new hire even said they close at 6:30 PM, which contradicts what is posted online.
When I arrived, Valerie was visibly rushing, rude, and seemed completely disoriented. Instead of listening, she tried to push an order on us that we didn’t want, and when we asked questions, she became even more dismissive. The lack of professionalism was shocking.
To make matters worse, Valerie later claimed she wasn’t the one who spoke to me at 4:04 PM because of a “shift change,” which makes no sense considering the store closes by 6 or 6:30. No accountability, no apology, no attempt to fix anything — just excuses.
The only person who showed any professionalism was a young employee who wasn’t even involved in the situation. She actually offered to cover a discount out of her own pocket because the shift leader refused to help or make things right. That says a lot about who cares about the customers — and who doesn’t.
I will be attaching screenshots and time-stamped proof from the entire interaction so shoppers can see exactly what happened. I truly hope upper management sees this, because the communication, service, and leadership at this location need immediate improvement.

This place is fantastic. Aside from the two-tier cake (red velvet/classic vanilla) looking beautiful and absolutely delicious, their customer support and eagerness to please the customer was truly fantastic.
I placed an order and requested delivery for the following day for an office party. Unfortunately the only delivery drivers that kept showing up to pick up the cake were on bikes. I called the bakery to find out what was happening and the owner herself calmly explained that she didn't feel comfortable handing over such a delicate item to a person on a bike. She decided to personally deliver the cake herself to our office.
I didn't catch her name but it was really a sweet thing to do and I wanted people to know!
Thank you Nothing Bundt Cakes for the delicious cake. You have earned a customer for life !!

Nothing Bundt Cakes – First visit to this location Perfect spot for a birthday cake, any celebration, or just sweet treats on the fly! 🎂🍰🥮 They offer an assortment of flavors and sizes, so there’s something for everyone. Confectioneries from here are delicious but had bad experience at this store twice. There are just one or two kids running the store front with super low skills in customer service. Not sure how they come up with the rules about boxes or packaging but this is what I was given as packaging for a $95 cake, no box whatsoever. I asked for one and, however that was for some reason, one of the most impossible things that can be accomplished. How is one supposed transport a cake safely that’s packaged in this manner? The frosting was already touching the plastic wrap when being picked up at the store. Someone take notes and figure out your packaging situation and also maybe don’t have kids, with attitude and zero problem solving skills, run the store.

DO NOT BUY ANY RETAIL FROM THEM. No signage indicating they don’t take any returns!! After purchasing a cup on Thursday and going back two days later to pick up yet ANOTHER order from them for a bday, I was going to return the cup for credit. Spoke to the manager on duty, Valerie, who said they do not do returns on retail. Austin, NO SIGNAGE, NO WARNINGS. Sadly I also purchased 2 doz bundtinis as I have for several years for a bday celebration on the same Thursday. Won’t give them any more of my money.
The best cake I have had in 2025. I don’t know why I waited so long to try you guys. I got red velvet and vanilla ❤️

I will start by saying I'm a fan of Nothing Bundt Cakes. I have traveled around the country and all of them are very cute and clean. Even though individually owned, their trademark looks are the same. I had a problem with a couple of orders from the Silver Spring location and was given a voucher that expired to make up for money I spent on a cake. The Operations Manager told me that just like a coupon they expire. I questioned that logic because you aren't giving me anything but instead compensating me for monies you have already been given.
Here is the response from Brandon Mezzullo: It's quite clear we are not the right fit for your needs, and it is my understanding that you have been patronizing our sister location in Bethesda as an alternative with much better results. I'm happy to know another location is able to provide the service you're looking for, and I wish you all the best moving forward.

Walked in on Saturday around 5 pm . Lady at the front did not address us . We spoke and said hello and in response we got “so what would you like”. Very unfriendly and will not be returning to this location . Poor poor customer service . Very upsetting because I shop at Bundt cakes a lot . But this location will not see me again.
