Nova Europa Restaurant

I have read about this restaurant for many years and decided to have a belated birthday here. Wow! Everything was to perfection. From flaky warm bread to the escargot appetizer to the fantastic entrees. I am a huge lamb fan and the rack of lamb was EXCEPTIONAL. Please give it a try.The service from Manuel was top notch. And, all at a reasonable price. We were not here for the twilight special, which is a great value. We loved the white table clothes and cozy atmosphere. Quite a find for these two foodies.

This place is a hidden gem. From the outside it just looks like an unassuming restaurant in strip mall, but once you enter you are transported to a Michelin star restaurant in Europe. The chef and owner, Manuel does an exquisite job making everything from scratch including the pasteis de nata. My husband and I had a lovely meal and enjoyed the ambience as well. The staff was also so attentive and courteous.

Wonderful meal, Great atmosphere, just utterly charming. This is a hidden treasure right in Kemp Hill. Manuel was outgoing and amazingly friendly. An absolute must do.

My husband and I had the loveliest dinner last night at Nova Europa. The food was wonderful, the service was attentive and personal, and they have a lot of menu pricing specials you can take advantage of. We had Portuguese sausage, half chicken, and rockfish. All delicious!

The owner (came to the U.S. and founded the restaurant 43 years ago) was actually our server. The restaurant is white tablecloth but not pretentious. It has an old school European dining feel. It was a vibe. Highly recommend!

This place is a hidden gem! We went for the first time tonight and WOW. The food was great, service was phenomenal, and what a perfect atmosphere they’ve made there. Everything was great. Thank you, Manuel! You made our experience truly personal and memorable.

I came here with my boyfriend for his birthday! The food was delicious and the service was very good as well. It was a very special dinner and i definitely recommend. We both got the seafood nova Europa and it was fabulous!

Service was great, but we did not enjoy the food. Potatos were lacking flavor, wouldn't be surprised if it was a frozen product. Lamb chops were overcooked and small. The sauce on the lamb chops was good and saved the dish.

This place was absolutely amazing. Andrew’s customer service skills were on another level it was definitely an experience I would never forget. The appetizer, entree, and dessert were perfect. Can’t say enough how impressed I was with Andrew’s service. Highly recommend

What a hidden gem! We've lived in the area for decades and recently discovered this restaurant. What immediately struck us was the restaurant's charm. The cozy atmosphere reminded me of restaurants in the North End in Boston, or older restaurants in Georgetown. The food and cocktails were good, flavorful and light. This is a meat forward restaurant, with many fish and veal dishes. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had an early dinner before going to a show. We enjoyed the Old World elegance of the restaurant, the tasteful holiday decor, the attentive service and the delicious food. My shrimp Newbury could have been a little hotter but it was still delicious. Definitely a return is in order.
