The almond croissant is unbelievably good- light and flaky and the flavor was wonderful. We sat at one of the cafe tables and I enjoyed the sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella quiche, which they thoughtfully warmed up, and it had a very tasty crust with a creamy filling. My friend had the spinach and cheese croissant which was light and savory. We took home our almond croissants to look forward to the next morning. It was a great place to enjoy good food and unwind. Being at Ooh La La made me feel like I was back in Paris again. Parking is conveniently located door.

Wow, what a disaster. Went in on a Sunday afternoon (yesterday) to buy treats or a cake for a dinner group I was hosting that night. The counter server was very pleasant and helpful, and I left with a small cake (supposedly cappuccino) and a few pastries. When I returned home I tried one of the three pastries (a chocolate chip cookie).....it was stale, so I was worried about the cake and took a tiny tip off the frosting to taste it. IT WAS HORRIBLY STALE AND TASTED LIKE FREEZER BURN!!! I still brought it out at dinner and my guests pointed out you could see the cake was old from the color and hardness of the frosting, but we tried to eat it anyway. It tasted DISGUSTING, both stale and with an off, old taste to it, and we threw the entire cake away after no more than one bite each. This morning I tried to call the bakery (at 10:30am) to let the owners know, more as a help since I am not going back there again, and I was put on hold until a man came on the phone and rudely told me I would have to call back at 7pm to speak to a manager or owner. SINCE THEY CLOSE AT 6 PM THIS WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE, and he was obviously being a 100% obnoxious jerk and would not even let me speak to anyone in charge, although I meant to be helpful at that time. When I told him they would be closed and I would just post a review, he said 'fine' and slammed the phone down.Since clearly they did not care one bit about a potential customer issue, or the quality of their product, I feel very comfortable telling everyone what a terrible place it was and that I would recommend STAYING FAR AWAY from there and NEVER BUYING THIR PASTRIES AND CAKES!!!!!!!!! I see other reviews have had bad pastry experiences there too so YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I stopped by Ooh La La Bakery to pick up a couple of small desserts for dinner. I was quite impressed with the selection of pasties and small cakes, and it was very difficult to narrow my choices down to three items. I forget which desserts that I ordered, but two out of three desserts were pretty amazing. I wasn't too impressed with the carrot cake. The carrot cake was not bad, but it wasn't great. I tasted more like a carrot bread instead of a carrot cake. I thought the prices were pretty good for the area. Overall, I would return to check out more desserts.

Tres Leches cake here is really good, always fresh, not extremely sweet, I also like the Strawberry Shortcake and the Chocolate

Though pricey, this bakery elevates the food options in downtown Wheaton. The chocolate croissant is impressive. The bread has a great bite, it's flakey but not too crispy, it didn't taste stale at all, and it has a nice buttery aftertaste, and the chocolate inside is sweet and is a good size for a hefty croissant shell. It's the best item that I've had there. I always worry that bigger pastries sacrifice flavor, ex. Costco croissants.Oh and I loved the cheese and blueberry filling of the Danish, but I wish the bread was softer.I have had several pastries: tres leches, tiramisu, chocolate croissant, opera cake, and one kind of coffee: cortado.Their coffee has been good every time. Still a pricy but your only other option in this area is Starbucks in Safeway off Georgia. I'll take Oh La La instead!Their tres leches wasn't very good. And their tiramisu was a little too mushy for my taste. It's a shame because that's my favorite dessert. However, their opera cake was nice and the mousse or mousse-like items are very nice.

We paid $60 and we didn't get anything worth that. All the pastries are tiny and lack flavor. They look good through pictures but their not at all. I don't write reviews ever at all. But I wanted to come on here because this is how bad it was. Never coming here again. Don't bother, save your money and go else where.

3.2.24 Isn't their name just so enticing? This bakery has been on my list of places to try so decided to drop in as I was down the street having lunch with friends. There is metered street parking right out front as well as a metered parking lot a few steps away. I like that they have mini and regular sized pastries. I decided to go for a few minis so that I could sample them. I got an opera, strawberry shortcake, and tiramisu. Loved the opera and tiramisu, however, the shortcake was dry. Minis IMO are a but pricy. Hubby ordered the custard croissant and really enjoyed it. He is hard to please when it comes to pastries so if he says it's good, it must be really good. He told me if I am ever in the area to buy one for him. Lol. Aside from pastries: coffee hot tea iced drinks (coffee, latte, tea) smoothies freshly squeezed drinks breakfast sandwiches (served until 3pm) Brunch (served until 3pm) panini (served until 3pm) sandwiches (served until 3pm) Pastries seem somewhat limited compared to other bakeries I have been to. However, IMO quality should supersede quantity and selection. I am definitely a fan and would like to return if I am in the area.

I ordered my birthday treat - a fruit tart here. It looks very pretty but has a weird after taste, and I realized that’s because they put too much baking soda. I’m disappointed that they made such a newbie mistake and made their stuff tastes bad. Other than the taste of the cake, everything else was great. The decoration of the cake was pretty, and the staff were nice. ☹️

I stopped by Thursday, February 15, 2024 midday. I ordered 2 mini mango mousses and a chocolate croissant. The mango mousse was more of a mango custard. Very disappointed. I warmed up the croissant the following day and it was good.

Croissants were excellent, fresh with a crisp shell and chewy core. I also had a very yummy almond croissant. The baguettes are okay. Better than most that I have tasted in the area.

Greetings, DMV!!!!! how can you have a bakery and it doesn't smell like anyone's baking anything??? This place is obvious front for something, they may bake the cookies but that's it. All the pastries are brought in from somewhere else. They are consistently dry, they lack flavor, and taste. The pastries are purchased in mass from some type of store like Costco. " the jig is up" this is not a bakery!!!

The mini chocolate mousse cake and mocha eclairs are absolutely scrumptious. However twice now my order has arrived missing; all I order is 2 mini chocolate mousse cakes and 2 mocha eclairs, this is not a big order to pack and yet I've received an order less one mousse cake. The 'cash back' Uber then gives back doesn't solve the problem because if I reorder the missing item (which I initially ordered because I really want it), it costs more than the reimbursement. Please kindly be more aware with packing of your orders.
