First time here I just wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather on a rooftop. I had a discrepancy with my tab sitting at the bar.The young lady serving me. Didn't like that I had a valid question. She gave me I just work here and shut down. I asked for the manager and the most polite and gracious young man came over. He introduced himself and shook my hand. Explained the reason for the mishap and fixed it and asked me what he could do to smooth everything over. My request was small, but he treated it with the importance that it deserved. The young lady stayed in her feelings. She never checked on me not even eye contact. Despite her I will come back and I would recommend this spot. đđ˝đđ˝ To Mr. Baguette

The music is EXTREMELY LOUD and the bartenders upstairs literally ignore you, losing out on money for the business. They are super lazy. Like SUPER LAZY. They don't even come to tables unless you're in the back buying hookah.

I went to the Palisades and met this bartender, Eleven. Not only did she disrespect a customer by cussing him out, she refused to serve me and my friends our drinks. I will not be returning here, very unprofessional place.

I donât know who is the new lady they have at the front but absolutely the most unprofessional experience Iâve had at Palisades. Iâve been a regular for years, from buying bottle service to just having drinks and hookah at the rooftop. Iâm taking Palisades off my list of summer outings. I highly recommend you take your money elsewhere where it will be more appreciated. I canât imagine getting yelled at, at an establishment where youâre coming to spend your hard earned money.

I have to put this out there. This place was beyond chaotic. From the food to the service and the cherry to top the worst manager. My boyfriend and I were looking to go on an adventure and try this place out from the looks since the rooftop seemed nice. We made sure to ask the security guy if this is a place where we could have food since thatâs what we were looking for initially.
This place needs to be upfront that they solely rely on their hookah business and theyâre mainly targeting their service to African descendant people.
On a Saturday night at about 7:30pm while still daylight, the place was pretty much empty. We first ordered a house whiskey and a blue moon which it was warm and I didnât care much about that at the moment. Then when we were looking at the menu we all found out at the same time with the staff the menu itâs not updated since they no longer have the beef shawarma. Thatâs ok it happens. We end up ordering The chicken Tibs and a chicken club sandwich which I asked if it came with any side as I wouldâve like to have a saying on it and they said it comes with no sides. The food took about 45 mins to start coming out and when it did I got a chicken quesadilla instead of the sandwich. I looked for the server and said if the rest of the food wasnât coming out to please cancel everything as we were ready to go. Finally the correct food comes out as they let us know the chicken tibs comes from a different place and thatâs why it takes longer. Of course we were so hungry by then and there was no more room to cancel it. They took both empty cups of waters and bottles with them without asking or giving us room to have a drink while having the delayed meal. Finally got ahold of the server again when we proceeded to order one of the most famous Mexican beers Dos Equis which is advertised on their menu (see pic) and the server acted like we suddenly were speaking another language. I tried to help her by describing it in 3 different ways and then said we probably donât have that and the bartender confirmed that. We had the meal which it was a solid 5 for bar food. The chicken sandwich does comes with fries and the chicken tibs are actually chicken fajitas in a skillet (putting this out there since I now know more than the servers from their own menu and you wonât get this info if you go there). In the end we asked for the manager to let them know how many things had gone wrong with our visit and even then we couldnât get even a bit of common sense. The manager choose to go back and forth and said he didnât see nothing wrong. Coming from years of restaurant experience and retail I know how complicated customers can be so I expect the bare minimum and when it goes this way I have to let everyone going to this place know. Never felt before a staff (All of it including kitchen, servers and manager) deserved a $0 tip until we found this one but they have an 18% gratuity charge which is also not advertised upfront.
Great food&drinks. Service is great and the roof top has great view of downtown Silver Spring. Derrick is the best bartender?

This lounge used to be really good and a fun place to hang out. I usually come here to spend good time and listen to good music. Tonight what i faced was unacceptable and needs clarification. I enjoyed the night and was about to leave so i asked for the bill. The waiter come to me and told me the amount i need to pay. I told her i need a bill so she went back and brought the bill. It was all good till here. Once she brought the bill, she threw the bill on the table in a disrespectful mannner. I tried to get her name but she wasn't willing to give me but she was the darker skinned waiter on friday 03/22/2024. I am so disappointed and disrespected. She seems to have an issue with africans in general. You need to fix this issue immediately not for me but for the sake of your business.
