Ordered 2 identical pastrami sandwiches with cheese, onion and mustard totaling $35. There’s barely any mustard, bread isn’t toasted and each sandwich is made differently. One has the cheese on top of the onion, the other has the onion on top. I’ve come here several times and the quality just isn’t worth it anymore unfortunately, especially for the price. A deli should be sandwich experts, know how to spread mustard and have a consistent sandwich making standard.

A throw back deli like the best NY has to offer. You’re as likely to see your old Hebrew school teacher enjoying a white fish platter as you are a landscaping crew chowing down on bagels and lox. Service is quick and courteous; pickle bar is plentiful; sandwiches sumptuous; desserts decadent. Chicken soup and matzah balls like grandma made. Eat al fresco in nice weather. What else do you need?

It's always great to visit the Parkway Deli & restaurant. My American family is Jewish. Every Sunday he got us bagels, danishes, challah bread, lox, smoked fish, chopped liver, what a life we had, now he has left us, but I try to visit in memory of him. Friday, my boyfriend and I were there briefly we ordered matzo bawl soup, one vegetarian and one regular it was delicious ??
