Passion Bakery Cafe

It's a nice, little Latin bakery. The flavor sits somewhere between American and Korean cakes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They will warm up your empanadas or pack everything nicely. I stop by here every time I have a meeting in the area. There are only two tables and some chairs inside. It's more of a pickup place.

The cakes are good. I love the selection of snack-able bakery items too that go very well with hot coffee. I'm also happy to see horchata available in the cold section ready to go.

In terms of bakeries and cakes in the area though, here's my ranking:
1. Korean
2. Latin like this one

American cakes are way too sweet. I'm getting Korean or Latin cakes 99% of the time.

Amazing pastry and coffee! More of a grab and go place, but the almond croissant strawberry danish was SO good. There were cakes and cookies on display the looked fantastic as well

They did an amazing job with my gender reveal cake without me knowing the gender. They read the results on my phone and kept it secret. The cake was so beautiful and delicious. Highly recommend.

After having a not so good experience at the Beltsville location. I decide to drive to the AspenHill location. They went above and beyond!!!! The cake was exactly designed as we asked for! We had asked for chocolate filling. Whom ever made that cake you are the BEST!!! Cake filling was a mixture of different flavors which complemented each other perfectly!!! You had a bite of that cake and you could not stop eating it!! I have been ordering cakes from this franchise (Olney Location mostly) This cake has been the BEST, I have had since their existence. Thank you so much for making the wrong (from Beltsville location) right. We will be ordering this same cake pretty soon. Beltsville location please treat people nicely don’t forget we are the customer you have job because of the customer.

Such a wonderful establishment. The desserts are a bit pricey but well deserved. Fresh ingredients.
Delicious. Surprise your sweetheart/ family with little tarts etc.
Try at least 1 time and I promise for special occasions etc you'll be going back!

8/19/24–Went in around 6pm with an impromptu order of gender reveal cupcakes. The staff was very sweet and accommodating! They prepared my cupcakes (at 2.50 per cupcake) within the same visit. The cupcakes turned out very cute, not to mention delicious, especially the creamy icing . For only $5 they gave us a surprise that’ll last a lifetime! :) ?

Literally so delicious and wafts the best scent known to man. The staff are sweet and the desserts are delicious. They have some outdoor seats which are shaded and my personal favorite to sit at if I end up eating there. (I personally love the sorbets they make)

I enjoy visiting this bakery with more options than your local starbucks at a decent price. The atmosphere is cozy inside and spacious eating area outside. My favorite so far is the almond croissant & pain au raisin. My favorites from childhood, I am happy to have a homemade version here. We are a group of three, and I always leave paying under 10 dollars.
