Pau & Sophia Thai Kitchen

I went on Thursday for lunch. The sesame chicken was good, but I wasn’t particularly impressed by the mango boba. They must’ve been understaffed, because I had to wait a long time to have my order taken, despite being the only person in line. When someone did eventually take my order, he did so efficiently, which I appreciate.

The food was delicious! Pau (the owner) is very friendly and cooked our food! As Uncle Roger (Comedian and YouTuber) says, “Fuiyoh! He cook fried rice with wok hey!” The place is located in a small eatery spot. The only thing I can complain is perhaps the price? It’s a bit pricey however, I think it’s because of the location. Still worth coming out to eat some authentic Thai/Burmese food! While you eat, you can play pool or even foosball! Come and support this small business!

Pau and Sophia's Thai Kitchen is conveniently located in downtown Silver Spring and the food was amazing! The Burmese Noodle Salad is a popular option and the iced thai tea was great also.

Food is amazing. We tried the vegetarian Burmes noodles with tofu & Red curry tofu. Food is very delicious. Specially the Burmes noodles. Will visit again.

My favorite Thai places have Penang curry, this place is not, so I ordered pad Thai with no egg, This is the only Thai place I have found which does not use white meat and all the dishes, i'll have to remember to order white like they use it in there Currys and soups. I should subtract two stars. Do you tip in a cafeteria?
They are priced 3-5 dollars higher than
everyone else in the area.
