Only reason only 4 stars for service is because after letting the server know that some of the sides were missing, it wasn't until we told the owner did we get the food. Can't wait to go back. The fish was the best I've had in a long time, it was seasoned so well. I appreciate the love and attention put into the food.

Chef Don Berto and your team, thank you for rolling the red capert for me. My visit to Port au Prince restaurant. was one of the best experience and must come back in the future. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to the DC Maryland areas.

I came here with my queen for 4th of July weekend so it wasn’t busy at all. She ordered the Vegetarian Legume entree with black rice and I ordered the Stewed Goat entree with black rice. Also ordered their Port Au Prince (PAP) wings. Both dishes came with Pikliz and plantains. We ordered patties and Mac and cheese to go. Everything was flavorful and tasty. Service was excellent. 10/10 would recommend.

Delicious food and rum punch with just the right amount of bite. Had a good time with girlfriends and appreciated the feel of a family run and family friendly environment. I would be back.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at Port-au-Prince Haitian Cuisine restaurant in Maryland. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The food here is simply outstanding. We ordered the Taso Kabrit, whole snapper, mac and cheese, and plantains. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented.- Taso Kabrit: The goat was tender and perfectly seasoned, offering a delightful mix of spices that truly brought out the essence of Haitian cuisine.- Whole Snapper: The fish was fresh and expertly grilled, with a crispy exterior and moist, flavorful interior. It was a standout dish that I would highly recommend.- Mac and Cheese: Creamy, tasty, and comforting, this dish added a familiar and delicious touch to our meal. Just like Mom used to make it.- Plantains: Perfectly fried, these were a savory treat that complemented our main dishes beautifully. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make recommendations. They went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent.Port-au-Prince Haitian Cuisine is a gem in Maryland, offering a unique and memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy exceptional Haitian cuisine in a wonderful setting. I will definitely be returning to savor more of their delightful dishes!
Vegetarian options: Beregen is a delicious eggplant dish.
