Potbelly, we need to talk. I traveled all the way from LA to my hometown just to get your cookies—something I’ve been looking forward to—and y’all served me stale ones. When I called to let you know, the lady on the phone refused to replace them because I didn’t have the receipt. I threw away the receipt because I wasn’t thinking about returning them. As a matter of fact, I don’t even think I asked for a receipt—I didn’t care, I was so happy to get the goddamn cookies. And now I’m sitting here with stale cookies that I paid for, but I can’t get reimbursed or get fresh ones because of your mistake? This is not the experience I was expecting, and I’m seriously disappointed. Do better, Potbelly. I expected more from a place I’ve always loved!

The people at Potbelly are wonderful. HOWEVER, Door Dash handles the deliveries, and they are horrible. It's entirely possible for them to be 1-2 hours past their delivery time. I received a text from Door Dash saying my delivery was running late and would be at 8:33. The text timestamp was at 9:02. It's not an isolated case, and the driver didn't actually arrive until 9:20. I had already cancelled the order, no idea what they did with the food. They marked the order as delivered.

I ordered a sandwich and a drink for delivery. They didn't have the drink I paid for. Instead of contacting me to see how they could make it right. They shoved their cheapest bottled water in my bag. Wrote that they were out of my drink on the receipt and that was that. When I tried calling them several times to discuss the issue no one answered the phone. As a former manager of a sandwich shop similar to this one. I am appalled this is not how you do business. My name & number was on the receipt. You call your customers to ask how they would like to proceed. Either offer another drink of equal value or offer to refund the cost of the item. You do not substitute it with a product that costs a dollar less. Really upsets me, as I order from here fairly regularly.

The manager has a problem at this location. I ordered a half salad and she wouldn’t put even a teaspoon of meat. The rest was just lettuce. She claimed that formally they were giving the wrong portion sizes and that she’s correcting it. It was ridiculous. I told her she can keep the salad and I found lunch somewhere else.

I went to this location on 18 December shortly after they opened. I was the only person in the serving line and stood there for 5 minutes. During this time the manager nor the server chose to acknowledge me or say they’d be right with me. Instead they both stood together and packed cookies while totally ignoring me. I will never visit this location again. I probably should’ve read their reviews before going. But I never imagine this type service. Word of advice to the manager and her staff, don’t take a job that requires providing customer service with the attitude you displayed.

The "8 minutes through the line max" sign is there just to taunt you. It will take more than 8 minutes because this location is understaffed at lunch time. They are too busy filling mobile orders to help the customers in the store.Got a big sandwich. Pretty sure a big sandwich just means more bread, not more meat and/or cheese. Disappointing sandwich.
