Sake Japanese Steakhouse Wheaton

I ordered from sake steakhouse via uber eats. It came and smelled funny I ate it bc I was so hungry. Never again, I had the worst food poisoning ever and spent the night in the ER throwing up nonstop.

Good half price deal on sushi but be careful if you order take out. Two out of three times a roll was missing. That's ridiculous

The hibachi maybe isn't the best I've had but still pretty good. You get a lot for your money. Would definitely recommend. The staff are so nice.

Normally, lunchtime is a pretty straightforward experience with good waitstaff. However, I went for dinner recently sitting at the bar and my sushi and main course took almost 45 minutes to come out, with the bartender not really checking on me. It was finally when one of the senior waitresses followed up to me that things started to get moving in motion. Food is solid and portions are generous. If they could add tonkatsu to the menu I would definitely come more often.

Terrible experience at this Japanese restaurant on my both visits. The first time I went, I attributed the slow service to being between lunch and dinner hours. However, during my second visit at peak dinner time, the issues persisted. After waiting 30 minutes for a table, we were told it would take another 30 minutes because they couldn't accommodate our group without rearranging tables. The frustrating part? The restaurant was half empty, with plenty of unused tables inside and ALL the tables outside, but they refused to move them to seat 10 (rigid policy for rearranging tables!). Given the poor service and inflexibility, we ended up leaving. Not recommended.

The hibachi was fire! I also tried the Mai Thai for their Happy Hour which is every Sunday for only $7 it was strong drink. My wife got the Japanese Sunflower that was also yummy and much recommended.

Absolutely . Utterly disappointing. At first we were served for approximately 5 minutes. It took a while to get out water and food. When it did arrive. It was only on my way out. Not only that, it was undercooked shrimp! Horrendous. Disgraceful experience. Only good thing was the mojito.
