I won't order from here again. I ordered online for me and my boyfriend on Saturday at around 6:35 PM to be picked up at 7 pm, I checked the hours of the location and they weren't supposed to close until 9 pm. We drove to the location, I get to the door, and it's completely dark in the back of the store. I thought maybe there was some mistake because the front of the store look lit up, but in the back where the counter sits was dark. I pushed the door anyway to see if I could get in. Nope. I check the hours on the door (and take a picture) to make sure I had the hours correctly. Yes, I had it correct. I went to my email to check my confirmation to be sure I was supposed to pick up my order. Yup. Confirmation sitting there. I called and the phone went to voicemail saying the mailbox is full and bidding me goodbye. I called again 2/20. Same; no answer and a full mailbox. 2/21 same exact thing, but on this day I looked for an 800 customer service number, but couldn't find one. I filled in an online complaint form asking them to contact me. Haven't heard back. 2/22 same thing, call/no answer/full mailbox, except they took my money out of my account. This is horrible and probably illegal. It's a no for me.
This place is always understaffed to be in the heart of downtown silver spring. I always have to wait on orders at this location even putting them in 20-30 mins in advance. Today I had to wait an additional 15 mins and it’s only one person taking orders, making the smoothies and then cleaning.DO BETTER!
I am very disappointed ordered two smoothies and get to door to find out they are closed. I payed for smoothies and did not receive anything. This is ridiculous. This deserves a bad review. They closed at 9 and they locked the doors before 9. Simply disturbing and ridiculous!
So sad… I used to love this place (even gave it 5 stars before under Andro Meda) until they started hiring new staff members (which seems to be often). Tiara is great actually. She has great quality customer service and she’s genuine. But Rolan needs to readjust his manners when speaking to customers. I was a customer who was double charged (still have yet to see my refund btw) and Rolan had the audacity to tell me that I can’t just use the bathroom, (after I waited 30 mins for him with customers who came after me) and that I have to be a customer. I went ahead of course. Clearly he lacks common sense because I was a customer who was charged twice for 1 smoothie. If anything, I should of been accommodated with great courtesy and quickly reimbursed. But none of that happened. Rolan mentioned that he was new and that he didn’t know the process of reimbursement. He asked if I could wait until he served the 2 customers behind me. Being considerate of the matter, I agreed to wait. But Rolan took advantage of my kindness and became disrespectful for some odd reason. I guess he felt he could disrespect customers and not get exposed. As soon as I walked out the bathroom, he had the nerves to yell ferociously as he assumed and demanded to know why I was looking at the counter?!? This absurd insinuation and paranoid behavior is completely unacceptable. I had to quickly check this chauvinistic, common sense lacking, and superiority complexed individual asap. The fact is, I was a patient customer who was charged twice and came back for my refund. I waited patiently for 30 mins just to leave with no solution and a bad experience. He even turned off 5 customers in line while gossiping to his boss about me. They all walked out. I told him to stop and he said “I’m not talking to you. I then said “but you’re talking about me.” Who does that? If he was in New York, he would of got snuffed in a hot sec.. Customer service is everything, even more than the product sometimes. It’s not hard to foresee. This is how business owners lose their franchises.
I came in the morning at 7 am, and the door is closed but a person inside talking a phone. He told me to wait for 5 min I waited for more that 10 min. Even after I left another person was on the door waiting for the door to open but he was on the phone all this time. Bad experience.
They processed my transaction online although they have not been open due to plumbing for the last three day! I have no way of contacting the store to refund my money
ordered online and had to argue with the employee due to their system not receiving the order even though i showed proof on my phone that I had payed and had a receipt.. arguing eventually took so long I got a ticket.. why the employee acting like it comes out her paycheck tho ?
Been here a couple times but today Kayla made my experience special. She took initiative to ensure my satisfaction. The other employee came out from the back not fully aware of the situation but as I was explaining it to her she was just unprofessional and was even argumentative despite there being other customers around. When Kayla noticed that the scenario was getting worse, she quickly jumped in to mediate and quickly resolved the issue. That’s leadership. This type of quality customer service is what brings customers back and keep us loyal. Kayla was also on the forefront managing everything. From taking orders, blending smoothies and managing the cashier register alone as if she had 10 hands. I was impressed, because she did it so swiftly and with grace. Kayla is also genuine in her deliverance, which is always memorable and appreciated. Thank You!
This place is the worst smoothie place! The young girls (teens) are so rude, have zero work ethic, and disrespectful to customers. The store was closed almost everyday last week due to “technical” problems. They did not have a sign at the door so I approached it trying to get in and noticed the door was locked. I was confused but I saw the girls inside. I stood outside for few mins while the girls are looking at me confused. Finally one of the girls dragged herself to the door to inform me they’re having technical issues so they’re closed. Same thing happened the next day. Today was my last straw. Surprisingly they were open today but both girls didnt want to do anything. They never want to work. One of them (Ytam accd to the employee name on the receipt) was extremely rude, disrespectful and with a bad attitude. This is the THIRD incident for me experiencing this type of disrespect- WHY IS MANAGEMENT ALLOWING THEM TO WORK THERE? Clearly, those girls have no desire to work or help any customers. GET RID OF THEM or train them on how to deal with customers!!!! It’s unacceptable
I politely got my refund and crossed the street to ordered my drinks from Kung Fu Tea. Terrible service here. The young woman with the head wrap was argumentative after I told her why my smoothie was not blending well and was stuck (too much ice). Her response, "I know how to make smoothies, ma'am." There was no welcome or greeting, no smiles, no positive experience at all. Very depressing. I requested a refund and spent MY money at another store. This location is black-owned and I wish it were less predictable with the service. NEW staff needed or they will lose more money for poor customer service.

This location has made so many mistakes. They are clearly underemployed. My first experience was actually great. I placed a pick-up order and it was ready once I arrived. My second, third, and fourth orders, however, were not as great. Second experience: I placed a pick-up order and when I arrived to the store after expected readiness time, there was a long line of people waiting to order and only one employee on duty. I waited in front of the end table where smoothies are given and not in the line since I had waited there last time and gotten my order quickly. But after the entire line of people was taken care of, the employee asked me what I needed and I said I’d placed an online order twenty minutes ago. He said I should have told him. Partially my fault, but I think he was overwhelmed and just forgot about my order. Third experience: The one employee working there heard my order wrong even though I spoke loudly and clearly. Fourth experience: I tried to order a smoothie online, but it kept telling me there was an error when I tried to place the order. I then checked my bank account and saw that I had already been charged for two smoothies (more of Google’s fault, really). When we got to the store to pick up the smoothies, there was a sign on the door saying they had closed due to system malfunction or something. I have yet to get a refund and I feel that if the store was going to close early they should prioritize ensuring that no customers are misled to believe they can still make a purchase. Any one of these incidents alone would not keep me away from a business but it seems that every time I go there’s something wrong. I’ll no longer be going to this location. I hope they hire more people soon.
Every time we go here there is a long wait and one person working. To avoid this, we ordered online, but they closed unexpectedly so we could not get the smoothies that we payed for. There was someone in the building however.
I mean the employees there omg.. the worst. They never have a manager present, no customer service number to complain honestly they could do better, and make sure they have someone to supervise because honestly they loosing money. My experience was so bad that I walked out and so did 4 other people right after me.Please do u a favor and don’t go there.!!! I mean just look at the reviews, is corporate going to seat down and bring some change to this place ? Smh
Never enough staff. Only once person.Walked in and was told to order online which is .50 more btw. Another time they actually closed the store because not enough staff. Staff blatantly ignored me when trying to ask question about $5 Fridays. Rudest experience ever. The young guy with dreads!! I wil be contacting corporate.
The workers seem very lazy and often times they’re on their break. Never going back as they have terrible customer service.
