This has been our go to Chinese food restaurant since we moved to the neighborhood, and we have loved it... the Salt and Pepper Calamari is amazing. Last two visits we were disappointed, so fingers crossed we can have a better experience next time!

Parking lot is rough. The place gets very busy and you can stand awkwardly at the front for 10 minutes waiting to be helped.
The food is decent.
Price is high normal for the area, but on my last order I asked if beef and broccoli could have chicken added to it. They told me it would be $4 more (bringing the total to $19) I said it was fine. The container was not very full and 5 pieces of chicken were added. Not cool.

My normal range of test Asian food is hot and sour soup, dumplings, and Singapore noodles. When I saw the Spring Garden menu, though, I knew I had to change things up a little. I went with the Tom Yum soup, which might be the best Tom Yum I've had. The broth was lovely and the ingredients tasted fresh. There was even plenty of shrimp in there - nice big shrimps, too. There was a little spice to excite my tongue and, while I certainly could've had it spicier, most folks who look like me would've probably been sweating.

The Singapore Noodles come with choice of protein or combination, so I chose the latter (extra spicy.) Again, more than satisfactory! Hot, fresh, and tasty. Not dried out as though food had died in the pass. Overall, a great experience!

This is one of our favorite Asian restaurants. The food always tastes good. We've never had a bad experience. We also recently learned they're open to dine-in (after doing renovations) so we'll definitely stop in - it looks nice and cozy in there.

They don’t have good online ordering. Don’t waste your time ordering food here

Mu Shu beef was perfect. Veg was shredded properly, so still a bit crunchy. Beef cut in nice strips, in light sauce. Plum sauce on the side was ample. Pancakes not dried-out. Solid shrimp egg rolls, too. High quality here!

Food is hot, tasty, well seasoned. No bland mushy eggroll insides or lackluster hot and sour soup. Every meal we’ve ordered has been very good and quick. Best Chinese take-out/delivery in Silver Spring… hands down.
