In the parking lot near à large thrift store, we decide to stop in for a quick snap. We ordered two tacos: tongue and steak. The tacos were hot and delicious at $4 each and it was a bit of a wait. My daughter also decided she had to have this fruit drink for $7. The fruit was excellent but it’s only at the top. The rest was a sour drink with lots of ice under the fruit. I’m not a sour person so I just ate the fruit and discarded the drink.

In not sure exactly where these bad reviews are coming from but I have travel From DC to the food truck location and that’s how much it shows the quality of food is good. Love the sopes, 🔥. Which they had a location near the DC area.

My review in English won't be as long as my Spanish one because I needed to understand so the owner can understand what they need to address if they want their business to continue to succeed. I used to love this place but I don't think I can come back here. Here are the reasons why:

-THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY PUPUSA
-messed up our order. We didn't get the correct tacos
-the salad was too little for an order that had 7 pupusas
-the sauces for the tacos were watered down and flavorless

ENGLISH REVIEW:

I never complain about food on Google but my food was so terrible that I had to say something. First we started by ordering 7 scrambled pupusas and 4 tacos, 2 chicken and 2 tongue. Solon gave them two bags of tanning for SEVEN PUPUSAS. Not to say that the bags are big, THEY ARE SMALL! It's a joke to give 2 bags for 7 pupusas.

Another thing is they didn't give us our tacos that we ordered. They gave them 3 beef tacos and a tongue taco. We ordered 2 chicken and 2 tongue. How hard is it to screw up such a simple order and this place wasn't busy.

I tried to sympathize with this place because I loved eating here when I lived nearby. But the worst thing was that THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY PUPUSA (oh photo). He can't continue eating anymore. But the pupusa is no longer as delicious as before, there was hardly any meat and it was more cheese with beans. The sauces for the tacos were very watery and didn't have much flavor.

I enjoy eating here in general. Their yuca con chicharrón is probably the best in the whole area, abundant and well made. However, I just had a very disappointing experience with a beef tongue torta Hula Hula that was extremely oily and the tongue was old, greasy and salty. I let them know and they offered me something else in exchange which I really appreciated. I'll keep on coming though. I'll just stay away from any menu item made with tongue here.
