The breakfast club was so amazing, from the food, the vibes, and the excellent customer service. I came to DC for my birthday and the breakfast club was a highlight of my trip. Definitely will be back the next time I'm in DC.

I was hoping this would have been a great experience for me but it was not. First of all I traveled about an hour to get here. Once I was in the area I called to get the direct directions because there was so much construction going on. I got the chicken and waffles and a side of eggs. The chicken was prefect. The waffle tasted like nothing. My biggest reason for even writing the review was because the waitress lied about the eggs. Once she brought out my eggs I asked her were they liquid eggs? She lied and said no. I tasted them, called her over and asked again were they liquid eggs? She proceeded to say no they were real cracked eggs and said they just add a lil milk. I don't like liars especially in ref to my food. She don't know if i have an allergy or anything. I sent the liquid eggs back and requested a cracked egg and what do you know the cracked egg was sent out. Even though I didn't eat it because I didn't trust her ( the waitress) at that point. I still let it be know it was an difference. I will let anyone that I know coming here to beware. Know your food!! These restaurants hire people that doesn't have a care level.

The food presentation was great but the food was mid. I got the chicken and waffles and a side of grits. Chicken was cooked to perfection but under seasoned. The waffle was just okay. The grits were really good and if it was topped with some scallion and visible cheese shreds it would've been a 10/10 for flavor and presentation. The service quite frankly was terrible. We literally watched servers just stand around on their phones barely tending to their tables. The bussers were more attentive for service, refills, etc. vs those whose job it actually was. It's a cute restaurant but it's too damn loud. Esp for a 9:30am restaurant like I shouldn't have to yell across a two person table because the playlist is drowning out my thoughts. It's giving - the owner/founder is from Atlanta and tryna bring that flair to the DMV. If I was looking to turn up for brunch I would come here. But I'm not in a particular rush to return.

Disappointing Breakfast Experience – Would Not Recommend It's rare that I leave a restaurant feeling compelled to write a negative review, but this breakfast experience warrants it. From the moment I arrived, the challenges began — starting with the complete lack of convenient parking. That set the tone for what would become a thoroughly underwhelming visit. The service was average at best, but the real issue lies in the food quality and the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The food did not meet even basic expectations. I ordered a pancake that was undercooked when first brought out, and after waiting nearly 20 minutes for a replacement, I ultimately decided it wasn't worth waiting any longer. The bacon was clearly poor quality, and the overall meal lacked flavor, freshness, and attention to detail. It felt like I was eating at a Denny's — but with a price tag that suggested a much higher-end experience. Simply put, the food was grossly overpriced for what was served. Equally concerning was the condition of the restaurant itself. The restrooms were filthy — a clear sign that cleanliness is not a priority. The dining area didn't feel particularly clean either, which is always a red flag when it comes to food service. In my opinion, the management needs to seriously reevaluate both their kitchen standards and their facility upkeep. In short, between the lack of parking, the low food quality, unclean environment, and inflated prices, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this restaurant and I do not plan to return.

Waiter never checked on us to see how things were going. He literally disappeared and said he was taking a break to eat. The lady who was cleaning table's checked on us more than he did. The eggs with the order were horrible we asked for a replacement, but never received them.

Me and my family had a great experience. The ambience was nice, clean very casual. The food was good however it could have used a little bit more flavor.

There are several things I want to point out. First is the the 3% convenience fee on credit card purchase. I don't find this necessary at all. second is the 18% service fee to all tables below 6 people. I find this also uncenserry and we were blindsided by this. Third: We had a early morning reservation and the place had very loud music. I asked the manager to lower the sound. Fourth: The food was good but not great. I took an omelette and asked for a side of Chicken sausage, but they added the side IN the omelette. Fifth: Replace your salt and pepper shakers. They barely show any salt and the holes are very small. Sixth: This is minor but we asked for coffee refill, but they bought us a new cup instead of refilling the cup I had. Don't find this necessary I didn't have a great breakfast experience, but would hope management takes the points above seriously. Thanks

Great service and delicious food! Will definitely come back to try other things from the menu.

The hostess was out of touch and just rude. The waitress never introduced herself walked over and said do you k is your drink order. Neither asked is this your 1st time here, etc. we had to ask all the questions, it took over 20 minutes for me to get my drink while the others at our table received their drinks in a timely manner. Then to top it off the food comes everyone's food is piping hot while I never received my meal. When I finally got the attention of another waitress after 15 minutes then it took another 20 minutes for my food to arrive. Which means the waitress never put my food order in. Waitress never came over to see us when our orders did arrive. Therefore the others at the table food was warm by time my food arrived. I never displayed how the experience was overall not good. The waitress never provided us our receipts for our food. Even though the food was good it wasn't worth the unprofessional experience. I'll rather go someone else. Customer service is always top tier for me.

The food is always good, but we were pretty much ignored today. Very frustrating for the amount of money you stay here. They could definitely work on their customer service.

The food was delicious. However the service was terrible. Our server, Jasmine was very polite and friendly. However, the rest of the staff seemed as if they were not trained well nor had much restaurant experience. There were no bartenders on duty for the first hour we were there as I saw our server both serving and making drinks for about an hour before a bartender came to work the bar. I would patronize the restaurant but as a carry out only.

My boyfriend and I went to dinner here yesterday before prom and it was AMAZING!! Our waiter, Dwayne, was very attentive and funny and the food was fantastic! The music was a little loud at times so sometimes it was a bit hard to have a conversation, but thats my only note! Everything else was outstanding :)

Overall I enjoyed this restaurant. The service was a bit slow because it was Mother's Day. And it was extremely crowded. The food was amazing so that made up for the service.

Our waiter must have talked to us twice after he took our order in a 45 minutes span. I ordered a tea, the hot water came in shortly after but the tea bag was 6-7 minutes behind it. No spoon no cream no sugar. Oh, and tip is already included in your check. No wonder the effort was so minimal!
