Very nasty and cheap over night rice and pease was served and chicken fry with fish oil, the light skin lady with the short hair poor customer service , very rude, need in service to deal with customers. Need to use fresh oil to cook.

I ordered oxtails with peas and rice. Side order of plantains. I thiroghly enjoyed my dinner. Food w!s very season and hot. Arrived after 6pm and no problem finding a parking space.Parking: Arrived after 6pm no problem with finding parking.

Awesome food every time. I’ve had the curry goat, the brown stew chicken, curry chicken. Beef Patties, plantains. All highly recommended. And great pricing as well. They even have a lunch special. Service is always cordial to top it all

NOT EVEN GONNA LIE you just can't go wrong with Tropicana.. I've been going here for about 5 years now and honestly the quality has stayed the same (great) and i even still see some of the same people too! This is the lunch special for $8 !!! For that price you can't beat it , the flavors are all there and the brown stew is just perfect with the rice and peas

Make sure you ask them is the food fresh first because they gave me old oxtails that wouldn't even come off the bone they were so tuff. Food is good when they make it right and they be having attitudes an this lady is the main one who has an attitude she should just work in the back but the food is good when it's made right.

I am disappointed with the fact that I was serve old jerk chicken and old beef patties. If the food is old throw it out the most important factor in any restaurant is the food good quality food and good service.I am a paying customer it’s my money I chose to spend it with you. You should be able to give me good quality food. This is my second time getting bad food. You guys should fix it.
My favorite Caribbean restaurant in the area. My one complaint is that they don't answer the phone, so it's impossible to place a takeout order ahead of time. Aside from that, I love it. Good sized portions, reasonable prices, and everything is prepared perfectly. Especially the jerk chicken. If I still lived down the block, I would eat here at least once a week like I used to. Now, I'll drive 30 minutes both ways every once in a while for it.

Ok, so this was hidden ! When I say DELICIOUS . We ordered curry goat with a side of jerk chicken and we were not disappointed AT ALL. Talk about flavors dancing on our tastebuds. The service was quick and very welcoming. We will be back!

Listen up ppl this is a native on the scene - Hands down Tropicana is as authentic as it can get! Food wicked good. Today I got Jerk chicken and curried chicken and it was seasoned finger licking to the bone (yardies know importance of the bones). Glad I got two orders of the jerk so one in pic for later - if it last. There's just a real good chef there as everything's flavourful and tasty.
