I love Ethiopian food, and have been ordering from here for a while since it's local to me (even thought the food is only okay), however a recent experience soured this restaurant for me.
I ordered food from here using their website, but the online hours were listed incorrectly, so when we came to pick it up they were already closed. Then we came to them to get a refund, they said they could not help us and refused to make the order we originally placed.
Additionally, the one time I ate in-person at the restaurant it took almost an hour for my food to arrive. If you eat here, make sure to order to go and through the phone so they can't scam you using their website.
Ordered lamb kikil for $21, it was literally just broth and tiny pieces of lamb FAT.
Beef tibs fir - $16 full of injera, see photo. We found the tinest bit of meat after digging through all the injera.
Gomen besiga - $16 was very good and has plenty of meat
Doro woot - $23 had only ONE piece of chicken. I called and she was very rude said it was cultural. Even if that is true it is still a RIPOFF.
Veggie platter - $21 it was very flavorful.
Giving only 1 star because when I called to ask about the meat she was very rude on the phone and said that is how it is.
The food is just too good. Service and everything else. I love coming here to read. Very inviting atmosphere.
I went with my stepmom who loves Ethiopian cuisine. It was my first time trying some. She and I both loved and devoured our derek tibs and shiro, which came with plenty of delicious injera. Our beverages were perfect and came with cut lime and orange. It was very quiet when we went at 5:45 on a weeknight so we got to enjoy the tunes. Their bar is ample and the establishment itself was clean and well-decorated. I can't wait to come back!!
We had kitfo and lamb ! Service was outstanding 👏
I usually dine in over there and enjoy dinner made of fresh beef. The restaurant’s customers are disciplined and the bar is my favorite to have some alcoholic drinks in the presence of very nice musics projected in the screen. They are good in selecting nice musics for their customers. I advise every one to visit it.
Amazing hospitality, fair price, great place to experience ethiopian and Eastern Africa culture. Love it
Thank You! By far the best Ethiopian food around.

Lentils undercooked and crunchy. I gave them a second chance by pointing out my previous experience and her nonchalance should have been an obvious cue that my new meal would taste exactly the same. It’s shocking that authentic food can taste this poorly.

Ordered to go. Told me it would be ready in 20 min. Showed up after 30 min. Food is not ready. Been waiting for 20 min. Still not ready. I think they started putting the order together when I showed up.
