Hello Everyone

The ownership of this restaurant has changed, but the food did not disappoint! Ordered Fried Rice, Egg Roll, Chicken Broccoli, and Lo Mein. First of all, Fried Rice was not too soft or mushy. It was still really warm even after bringing it home. The egg in the Fried Rice looked fresh, being better than the last owner’s. The Egg Roll stayed the same, which was still really tasty! The Chicken Broccoli tasted great. Not too much sauce and the broccoli was not too soft or hard. The Lo Mein was well cooked with the right amount of sauce! The son working at the counter was also really kind while taking and giving me my order. Will be ordering again!

Restaurant changed ownership and the food tastes bad now. The fried rice was a mushy mess, and the egg rolls felt mushy inside and did not have enough fresh cabbage like they used to. Such a shame, this place a favorite for so many years.

Ordered 10+ items for dinner, and everything was 10/10. I ordered 4 egg rolls, 4 spring rolls, one order dumplings, 4 different lo mein, 4 different fried rice, chicken with broccoli, chicken corn soup, fried dumplings, and string beans with Szechuan style. Pricing was also fair. It tasted like Chinese take out from New York and that’s hard to find around here. Will be ordering here from now on!

======Update January 2025======
Unfortunately, something seems to have changed at this restaurant. After several months, we decided to give it another try since our usual spot was closed. We ordered three dishes, and unfortunately, none of them tasted good. The fried rice was essentially just rice with soy sauce. One dish, which was supposed to feature grilled chicken, came with fried, battered chicken instead. The tofu had a noticeably bitter taste. Overall, the food taste was disappointing, except for the steamed rice—which was great, but, well, it was just steamed rice.

When I arrived to pick up the order, it wasn’t ready, and the restaurant itself was freezing. I had to wait about 10 minutes. While I understand trying to save on heating costs in a pickup-only establishment, I felt bad for the lady working the front desk—she was wearing a heavy coat, and it was clearly too cold for anyone to work there comfortably.

I wish I could recommended it. But it truly disappointed.

======ORIGINAL REVIEW=======
This is my to-go place when craving Chinese comfort food takeout. Is fast, close to home and reliable. There are only two tables in there, so this place is mainly for takeout. I've never seen anyone dining in (even before pandemic). Food has been consistently good here. We do tend to order the same thing every time, so can't speak for all the items on the menu.

This place is cash only. So make sure you bring cash.

Plenty of parking. Conveniently located close to Giant (and lots of other businesses) in case you need to do some shopping while waiting for your order.

All in all a great place to get your Chinese food craving satisfied.

They ripped me off when it came to tip. Will never order from them again, because this is simply a crappy way to be.
Although I totally get that this was my fault for not doing the math correctly
I was rushing and not paying attention. My bill was $66, I handed her $100 bill and said “I want to give you a $10 tip, so give me $14”?
Then I said wait
. what’s $100 minus 76? And she said “yes $14”. I was receiving a call on my cell, got distracted and took the food and went inside then realized it should’ve been $24 change. All she got was an extra 10 bucks and in return, I will never order from them again and mention this to all my neighbors. This wasn’t a young kid. This was a woman who works there, not DoorDash or anything.

Placed a pick up order for some edamame, dumplings and Thai curry chicken and it was all amazing but what made the experience everything was the daughter of the owners. She had some jokes and had me cracking up. If the owners read this keep her in front she’s a breath of fresh air. Will return

I always appreciate a good family run business for my fast food options. Great lunch option for my chicken and broccoli cravings. The wonton soup/egg drop soup was a hit with my wife too and she usually doesn't like that kind of stuff. It's not gourmet by any means. But it does the job at a reasonable price!

I don’t know what’s going on with this place but the service here has taken a nosedive. Previously I ordered food to get delivered to my house, and they canceled my delivery order for unknown reasons. I had to call back constantly to figure out what the problem was. When I was finally able to get my order delivered, it wasn’t what was ordered at all.

Tonight, I went into the restaurant to place my order in person to avoid any confusion. All of the employees were standing outside (looked to be a work meeting maybe). Inside, a child was working the front area to place orders. I started out asking to order a combination plate. She says “Do you know what a combination plate is?” I said yes. She then told me to explain it. I said a plate with rice and chicken. She proceeded to put my order in and I ordered sesame chicken with broccoli instead of rice. She looked at me like I was making an outrageous request. I said never mind and walked out of the restaurant. If your workers aren’t going to respectfully communicate with potential customers, please do not have them taking orders. I won’t be back unless this is fixed.

The lady at the counter was nice but to be honest this was the worst food I have ever had. I ordered the fried eggplant. It was over battered and burned. I had two bites and called it. I will never go back. Thankfully, I see she has plenty of loyal customers and maybe my food was an anomaly. I'll never know.
