Love love their Enjera the best that DMV has to offer. I have a small child and would not feed her any other Enjera. The owners are wonderful people who give the best service to anyone who walks in.

The Best Injera in town, ask
for the best Sambossa before it gets sold out before noon. The best long running ethiopian business in the US. Family owned and great customer service. This is really the American Dream comes true.

The place looks very simple with only few tables for indoor dining, but the food was so, so, so good! Would definitely recommend! ?
I stopped in for a cocktail while in Silver Spring. They staff did not acknowledge my presence as I waited at the bar to order. They were not busy and I had to make an effort to draw their attention to order. Other patrons seemed to have priority. I did'nt think they were particularly friendly or welcoming. I would not recommend.
My wife read about this place, so I did a takeout dinner. First thing to know is that the woman who runs the place and cooks all the food is preparing the dishes her Mom cooked in Addis Ababa, and her Mom was a master chef. The food is terrific, with startling and clearly differentiated flavors. Around dinner time, people are driving up and about this restaurant like bees leaving from and returning to their hive. It's a popular place. Second thing to know is that, even beside Covid, it's takeout only: Linoleum floor; a few simple chairs (no tables; they wouldn't fit), and a couple of fluorescent lights. Everything is contact-less. We seriously enjoyed our meal of Fish Dillet and the Veggie Combo.
This is my go-to for injera. Freshly made, priced right. Very friendly service. Sweet people. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place! This was the best Ethiopian food I have ever had and I have had a lot! I heard about this place from an article in the WaPo and I am glad I ordered from here. The Yawaze tibs were out if this world! It's the only time I've gotten any tibs and they've been in their own sauce. Normally they are like the Lega tibs which are seasoned but you would have to add sauce to it for extra flavor. Honestly, both tibs I mentioned were excellent but the Awaze was by far the favorite. The spicy lentils were also fantastic! We also really enjoyed the yellow peas and the carrots with cabbage. The whole meal was awesome and they even give you a spicy berbere sauce and powder to add flavor. Just make sure you also order extra injera because you will need it!
Best Ethiopian market with great customer services
It real nice costumer serves!
I ordered the vegetarian plate, it was big enough to fill my appetite with food left over for the next day's lunch. Ethiopian is my favorite type of food (no, I'm not Ethiopian but my taste bud are), and order it whenever I can. Rohobot is one of my new favorites. Next time I visit Silver Spring I'll be back!
Small restaurant with basic decor trying to establish itself in America. Most certainly worth a visit if you have never had authentic Ethiopian served Ethiopian style. Beef, lamb and chicken dishes with complex flavour profiles. Heat of spicing to customers choosing. Extra spices on the side, home-made cheese, very fresh.
