The cream of crab is a more seasoned version than you get most places, and it's wonderful. Best fried oysters in town. Have eaten there numerous times with family when in town and the service is always great.Food: 5/5
Waitress was great, bartender rude, food was not good, looked like it had sat under heat lamp for a while.
Looks like An alright place at first sight theirs a nice marina next to it but when you walk in theirs not much . The quality of the food is horrible and everything thing is FROZEN EVEN THE FRENCH FRIES! The oysters tasted rotten and were horrible and the bartender was extremely rude, the overall service was horrible the kitchen was slow and the prices are very high. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE THERE ARE MUCH BETTER RESTAURANTS AROUND. I recommend the pier and boomerangs both of them are less then 10 minutes away from here.
Stumbled into the hidden gem where trivia night was occurring. While we didn't actively join, we did from the sideline and had fun despite getting most questions wrong. The food was delicious, wifey LOVED the crab dip and said it was one of the best she's had.Burger and sides were good portions and prices were on point.Nice quiet place
Cute little quiet place with outside seating overlooking the marina. Hard to find but by Beacon Marina, Great service, great for breakfast, lunch. Have not tried dinner here. Not fancy, simple food, small portions....just right!
We ordered crab cakes and green beans and hush puppies. The crab cakes were less than par. The hush puppies were good and the crab soup was lousy. Our waitress was wonderful and accommodating. But then we met a very angry bartender. Someone was having a bad night and decided to verbally abuse me because she didn’t like my opinion. Never again folks! And that is the reason for the one star rating. 8/27/22
Came in sat and waited for 30 minutes was ignored by waitress. In the end we left. A couple came in and took our table after us and were immediately served. Maybe it was because we had kids (very well behaved), could have been because we were a mixed race group. Either way it was uncomfortable and we won't be returning.
Please only go here for the atmosphere and the booze...my sons hamburger was good ...please don't order the clam chowder it was like leftover sausage gravy that was in the sink the next day and the crabcake was gross . ..the French fries were cold ...the bang bang shrimp were small but had good flavor ...the crab dip was ok .....the people were nice ...karaoke later that night was fun ...crown and coke was nice and stiff ...so its a great place to party ...just eat before you get there..
Came in at 1057 on a Saturday for lunch. Waiter almost wouldn’t let us order off the lunch menu that starts at 1100. Said ok but it’ll be a little bit. Waiter rarely stopped by to check on us. Took over an hour to get our food (blueberry pancakes, a shrimp wrap, rockfish platter with green beans that were obviously canned). Both tables next to us got seated after us and were done eating by the time we got our food. Our food was average.
This has been a family favorite of ours for over 20 years. The staff are so polite and quick to bring drinks, napkins, silverware, etc. Restaurant is always clean and we enjoy sitting outside overlooking the inlet. Very beautiful setting. The only sad downside is that they no longer serve their homemade cornbread! That was a family favorite for many years. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We showed up on the Fourth of July, there was seven of us and the service and the food was good. Great family place
Usually a place we loved to stop and even bring visitors, but it's becoming harder to say that! Today, we were ignored for more than 5 minutes by the "Wait to be seated" sign with less than half of the tables occupied. I understand that staff can be busy but we watched at least 4 staff member walk by and avert their eyes from the entrance. Even one of them acknowledging that we were waiting would have been helpful. We gave up and left after about 10 minutes of waiting with no response or even a nod from the crew.
1/2 full restaurant but never greeted or seated. Left after 10 minutes of watching staff walk back and forth making eye contact with us but not acknowledging our existence.
Great place to go! Thank you!
This is a very convenient restaurant to dine in, while staying in Quality Inn Beacon Marina in Solomons or visiting the Calvert Marine Museum. The menu is simple, and the service is basic. Nicely located.
