From the ambience, to Jessica our amazing bartender, to the well crafted menu. It was a beautiful time. We all can’t wait to stop in again. The flavorful fall menu was a treat in disguise and Jessica’s knowledge, commitment and passion spoke through the food and drinks. Well done! And thank you!”

“Bugeye Grill Solomons, MD If you’re sleeping on the steak here, fix that. The steak salad is killer, perfectly cooked steak, fresh greens, and it actually eats like a meal. The steak with vegetables was very delicious too, tender, seasoned right, and the veggies weren’t an afterthought. Yeah, it’s a seafood spot, but the kitchen clearly handles beef with the same care. Waterfront views, solid service, and food that delivers. Bugeye Grill is the move in Solomons”

“The Ruddy Duck in Solomons is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and had a great overall vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. The food was spectacular—everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they put thought and care into their menu. Every bite was delicious, and it’s definitely the kind of place where you leave already thinking about what you want to try next time. Our server, Nicole, was amazing and incredibly attentive. She made sure we were taken care of the entire time without ever being overbearing. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail really elevated the experience. What really stood out was that the owner, Carlos, came by to check on us personally. That extra touch says a lot about how much they value their customers. He was genuinely friendly, approachable, and made us feel appreciated. Between the outstanding service, delicious food, and great atmosphere, I would highly recommend The Ruddy Duck to anyone in the area. We had such a great experience and I can’t wait to visit their other location soon!”

“My wife and I had the opportunity to dine in your restaurant this evening. We chose an early dinner to have time to relax and enjoy the view. I had to write and tell you what a fantastic experience we had. Hannah was our server and she was a shining example of hospitality and great service. Not over bearing but there to see what we needed or how things were food wise. She alone would be our reason for coming back. But the food was absolutely incredible. From the hush puppies, wings, crab cakes and blackened chicken, everything was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. Not normally dessert eaters, Hannah sold us on two of your deserts! The apple cobbler and tiramisu cheesecake! Again, both were flawless. Please share this with your BOH staff as I know they are often overlooked and of course we sing our praises to Hannah! “My wife and I were traveling our last few days on the great loop when we were contacted by Solomon’s yacht club to spend a few nights at their facility. What a wonderful group of folks, from the time we got there to the time we left we felt like part of the group. I even give you two free drink passes when you arrive for their very nice pub bar. “I placed an order this evening for two subs..when I arrived they were ready. they made a tuna sub instead of turkey like the asked but maybe the connection wasn't great. when I arrived I was greeted by two women. very pleasant. it had to have been 85 degrees in there. it was close to 100 outside. I felt so bad for the employees. Is that even legal? Ovens were on and cooking. Shame on Jerry's for not closing until their AC is fixed and expecting people to do this...”

“Hands down best Ice cream I’ve had. Waffle cones cooked perfect every time. Flavors are vast and very very good, service is fast and staff is very friendly. Highly recommend. It’s my girlfriend and i’s go to dessert spot.”

“They seem to be closed when ever the Internet says their open so I came all the way here for it to be closed but normally when open good service and good ice cream!”
