“Second time at The CD Cafe and again did not disappoint! The Popeye Burger is to die for. They put boursin cheese and spinach on it and it was amazing. My daughter ordered the blueberry cheesecake stuffed French toast and it was heavenly. Love this place!“

“My wife and I had the opportunity to dine in your restaurant this evening. We chose an early dinner to have time to relax and enjoy the view. I had to write and tell you what a fantastic experience we had. Hannah was our server and she was a shining example of hospitality and great service. Not over bearing but there to see what we needed or how things were food wise. She alone would be our reason for coming back. But the food was absolutely incredible. From the hush puppies, wings, crab cakes and blackened chicken, everything was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. Not normally dessert eaters, Hannah sold us on two of your deserts! The apple cobbler and tiramisu cheesecake! Again, both were flawless. Please share this with your BOH staff as I know they are often overlooked and of course we sing our praises to Hannah! We were away on our 31st wedding anniversary and The Lighthouse was the jewel in our celebration! Great job to all!!!!!! Than you, Mike & Jo Ann Schatz North Wales, Pa.“

“We had a group upstairs and enjoyed the view and ease of doing business . The food was OK, but not quite as good as expected for the money. But all were happy in the end. Thanks for the ease of doing business with you all at a busy time!

“I was invited to the club as a guest for an eighty's disco dance party with name that tune for prizes and great DJ. I was made to feel like one of the regulars from the moment I walked in. Drinks were two dollars and the food was free. You have to join of course. It is a private club. I had so much fun I think I will.“

“I eat here more often than I tell my wife because the food is so good and the portions are huge. Everything I’ve had there is 5 star. Breakfast is my favorite and the keto bowl is a delicious meal. Highly recommended!“

“Food is great, decent parking, clean inside.
Service is hit or miss. It can be absolutely terrible or the best server in Maryland. If it’s not my table I notice it on other tables. Really depends on the server you get. Whether that’s being served and no utensils, no follow up from the servers just to refill drinks, or even bringing a to go box. Either it’s the constant turnaround of new hires or it’s a management issue directing people’s time correctly, who knows. It’s one of the few breakfast places in the local area and the food is always hot.“

“My favorite thing of the night was our waitress she was perfect! Ashley did a great job at taking care of us and making sure our orders came out correctly. She was nice and always checking in on us. The chef, Val, cooked an incredible meal for me and my wife. It's the best steak I've had in the county in a while. It made me feel like I was at home. All of my food tasted so good and the atmosphere was perfect. The lighting was great and the music wasn't super loud. My wife and I definitely found our favorite steak house now. Thank you for an incredible dining experience. We will be back!“

“The manager Jill is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and is the epitome of what a manager should be!! My pizza was cold and the Doordarsh driver forgot a couple items. She immediately asked if I would mind coming up there and getting another shake. I was so appreciative of her professionalism that I went up there and she really made my bad experience a good one!! “This was our 1st visit & 1st time hearing of this place; we're out of towners & were visiting our daughter (an SMCM student) who chose this restaurant. The smells emanating from their kitchen to the parking lot were so delicious & enticing, who wouldn't wait for a seat? After a short 10 min for a table & not long after being seated, the server got our drink orders. My only issue w/ the server was that she kept running off before we were finished ordering or could even ask a question, she was nowhere to be seen except on the few occasions she came to check on us, yet we repeatedly had to ask for drink refills. When you see empty glasses on the table-why not ask if they'd like a refill? I guess it frees you up to not be running for drinks & saves them $$, but when you're spending your hard earned $$ in there, you don't wanna leave thirsty. The food arrived fairly quickly & was hot. My daughter got the meatloaf & I got a cheeseburger; they had to be an entire lb. each, no exaggerating; but the other portion sizes were enough to sate the avg appetite, and no leftovers. But everyone enjoyed the food, we had cheeseburger & meatloaf to take home. The prices were pretty avg for this type of restaurant. I'd definitely go back again.?
Parking: The lot is kinda small & on the weekend parking can be tricky @ dinner time. May have to wait for someone to leave or park in a different, further lot.“

“We don't typically wander out on Sunday mornings but found our way to IHOP on a whim. It was busy as the southern maryland woke up and church goers started to arrive but the serving staff handled it admirably. I'm sure that there's some statistical analysis that went into the size of the "personal coffeepot" you get when you order but I find a pot of coffee that holds enough for one and a half cups plain odd. Staff was on the ball retrieving sweetener and cream. Food was great. Not surprising. It always is. Keep in mind, if you arrive between 9 and 10AM, you're beating the after church rush.“

“Food was good, but the server I had was inattentive. She just gave me my food and said here you go and walked away. I had hoped she would come back so I could get ketchup. I had to ask another server to get it for me. Since I had a burger with a lot of sauce on it I needed napkins to wipe my hands. Once again no sign of my server. I asked another server walking by if she could get me some napkins. She brought me cocktail napkins. Pretty much useless when trying to wipe sauce off your hands! My server finally showed when I was almost finished eating up to ask me if I wanted anything or the bill. A friend of mine said thyey had poor service there as well. Train your servers and may I will come back one day.“

“My fiance and I dine out often. We dine here and many other places pretty frequently. I had the special salmon and asparagus yesterday. I have to say that is the best salmon, or meal for that matter, that I've ever had. The food is always great, but that was over the top. I hope they keep that on the menu permanently.“
