“We stopped in on a Saturday in October and were seated right away at about 8:30am. Great low key vibe and lots of locals seated at the counter. It has a country diner kind of vibe and has clearly been around for awhile.Great service, prices, and delicious food! I ordered the country fried steak with grits and ate every bite. My husband had a Spanish omelette and also ate every bite. My husband wanted to eat here two days in a row! Can't wait to come back.“

“This place always has some specials along with their awesome menu. I would not recommend the “Asian sticky ribs.” They sound good but they are tough and the Asian marinade is delicious but not as sticky of a glaze that you're thinking. Had their avocado toast—amazing! And their mahi can't be beat either as a sandwich or in their tacos. Best fries I've had in the Southern MD area!“
“I have eaten here several times and every time the food is amazing. My favorite so far has been the cream of crab soup but also their shrimp wrap. Everytime I try a new item I’m impressed. Everyone there is extremely nice and friendly. I would recommend this place. It is always packs which speaks volumes about the food and service.“
“We've had lunches, dinners and breakfasts here. My favorites have been burgers, fried zucchini(the best!),pancakes, french toast, sangria and mimosa flights. Not all at once, haha. Husband like the Nashville hot sandwich. Staff are always friendly and keep things clean. Prices are average for restaurants these days. Highly recommend. If going for brunch on weekends, I suggest before 9am.“
“I have yet to ever write a review for somewhere but i felt this place truly deserves one. Some of the best food I've had in a long time complemented by amazing service. Our waiter had forgotten our appetizer at first which we weren't too concerned with as the portions of food were very big (and every bite amazing) but upon us telling him about it he not only gave us the appetizer for free, but also a free dessert. This isn't where the good service ended however because our waiter was one of the friendliest people I've ever met, really just a joy to be around. He started conversation and was so apologetic when he realized he forgot our appetizer. If he is reading this, I would want him to know he deserves all the joy in the world. Also the food was really good too“
“Solid selection! Date night was a hit...reservations recommended/required on a Friday night. We truly enjoyed the blackened Snapper, SOMD egg-rolls, and fried oysters. Beth was very attentive in taking care of us. Great crowd (hence the reservations) kept the place lively and entertaining. Worth the drive to experience this classic SOMD bar & grill. Enjoy! OBTW....don't overlook the adjacent grocery for THE BEST stuffed ham and chicken salad!“

And he really outdid himself Upon arrival, we were escorted to the second level of the restaurant and to a private dining area, where it was dimly lit for a romantic atmosphere, and guests were entertained by a gentleman in the corner named Jonah playing on a piano ?Our server, a young woman named Leah, was very nice; the food and beverages were excellent; and the entertainment was exquisite ?It was truly a beautiful and perfect and magical evening!!! “Ate here with my wife for our anniversary dinner. Food and service were amazing. The view is beautiful however we were sat in the middle of a bunch of highly intoxicated individual who were just standing in the middle of the dining room being obnoxiously loud that's the only downside to the atmosphere. I had the grilled swordfish which was amazing, I got hush puppies and onion rings with it , the hush puppies were decent but not sweet which I found very odd. My wife had a Cesar salad with shrimp and loved it. The crab dip was also amazing but they definitely don't give you enough bread to go with it.“

She made sure what we ordered for her was indeed GF for all parts. All the food we ordered was fantastic, 5 people with 4 different meals (2 duplicate orders). Could not have had a better experience. “I was invited to the club as a guest for an eighty's disco dance party with name that tune for prizes and great DJ. I was made to feel like one of the regulars from the moment I walked in. Drinks were two dollars and the food was free. You have to join of course. It is a private club. I had so much fun I think I will.“
“This was our 1st visit & 1st time hearing of this place; we're out of towners & were visiting our daughter (an SMCM student) who chose this restaurant. The smells emanating from their kitchen to the parking lot were so delicious & enticing, who wouldn't wait for a seat? After a short 10 min for a table & not long after being seated, the server got our drink orders. My only issue w/ the server was that she kept running off before we were finished ordering or could even ask a question, she was nowhere to be seen except on the few occasions she came to check on us, yet we repeatedly had to ask for drink refills. When you see empty glasses on the table-why not ask if they'd like a refill? I guess it frees you up to not be running for drinks & saves them $$, but when you're spending your hard earned $$ in there, you don't wanna leave thirsty. The food arrived fairly quickly & was hot. My daughter got the meatloaf & I got a cheeseburger; they had to be an entire lb. each, no exaggerating; but the other portion sizes were enough to sate the avg appetite, and no leftovers. But everyone enjoyed the food, we had cheeseburger & meatloaf to take home. The prices were pretty avg for this type of restaurant. I'd definitely go back again.?Parking: The lot is kinda small & on the weekend parking can be tricky @ dinner time. May have to wait for someone to leave or park in a different, further lot.“
