Boomerangs Original Ribs & Seafood

This restaurant has had 'good food' over the years -- ups and downs. I like the ribs. The fried oysters are above average. Cole slaw and fries very good. Been going there for many years. How might you find a way certain to infuriate a long-term customer? What grabbed me this time was the price of a tea bag and hot water. $4.59 !!! I am not kidding. This is simple gouging of customers. No restaurant in southern MD charges that much for ANY non-alcoholic beverage like tea or coffee. Just absurd. Why would you DO that? The waitstaff says I'm not the first person raise hell about it. It will be the LAST time I ever pay it.

Our server Alex(that's the name on the receipt) is an absolute gift to the service industry. He was an amazing waiter, great personality, and went above and beyond to explain to another customer what the menu said. We ordered the scallops and steak, both were absolutely amazing. Awesome environment, great food. A+ If you go to any restaurant, please take the time to read what the menu says as it pertains to charges. This was my first time there and I understood the menu. Another customer who had allegedly been there multiple times before had to be explained how a menu works, AND that pre-tip actually meant "before the tip". We will be back from Virginia for sure in the future!

I got the combo of the chicken breast and steamed shrimp I got 4 shrimp and wasn't even full after eating this meal the portions are small and not worth the money! Go else where!

Gotta say one of my better meals in a long time. Other than the pesky fly we loved it. Recommend bbq platter (w/hush puppies and coleslaw) and loaded pierogis as appetizer.

Best hush puppies ever? Possibly. I loved the hush puppies and had fried haddock. It was pretty amazing as well. Fresh hot food for a decent price is something that I love to find. Haven't been on the east coast much but they did everything right down to the coleslaw. I would definitely go back. Coleslaw not pictured because I devoured it quickly.

First time here. Got the Fried Zucchini app (fresh and hand breaded) and the regular size hand-breaded haddock sandwich with cole slaw for a side. All was very fresh. Good service.

This place has the worst service ever with just ok food. The waitresses are very rude and think they are better than everyone else. DONT EAT HERE.

Pick up order I decided to give Boomerangs a try again after two years since the last bad meal. Paid 16 dollars for 5 cold in the middle fried shrimp obviously frozen. I guess loyal locals and unknowing tourists keep them in business.

My 1st time here and our waitress was very sweet older lady that spoke highly of their food. I had the calm soup and the shrimp basket. The coleslaw was so so good. We will say it's worth your money.

The place was awesome! Food was fantastic. Service was amazing. TRY EVERY BBQ SAUCE. They're all fantastic. 100% will be back.
