Boomerangs Original Ribs & Seafood

I have eaten at Boomerangs myself in the past. In fact, I previously posted a review that they served the best Cobb salad I have ever eaten. I even took a photo of it because it looked so great, and I NEVER post food photos. Anyway, my husband Charlie just brought home some food from there, and they were the BEST ribs I have ever eaten.

Everything was AWESOME as usual but extra special today . Sandy was Great and the food was extra good . Had a little bit of everything even the Meatloaf Special.

My family and I go to Boomerangs for breakfast regularly and have never been disappointed. The creamed chipped beef is a favorite.

Boomerangs is my favorite restaurant. We're from PA and stopped here on a whim when we visited Maryland last year. Now we go there every time we go to MD. The ribs there are incredible. And the smoked sausage. 🤤

This restaurant has had 'good food' over the years -- ups and downs. I like the ribs. The fried oysters are above average. Cole slaw and fries very good. Been going there for many years. How might you find a way certain to infuriate a long-term customer? What grabbed me this time was the price of a tea bag and hot water. $4.59 !!! I am not kidding. This is simple gouging of customers. No restaurant in southern MD charges that much for ANY non-alcoholic beverage like tea or coffee. Just absurd. Why would you DO that? The waitstaff says I'm not the first person raise hell about it. It will be the LAST time I ever pay it.

Our server Alex(that's the name on the receipt) is an absolute gift to the service industry. He was an amazing waiter, great personality, and went above and beyond to explain to another customer what the menu said. We ordered the scallops and steak, both were absolutely amazing. Awesome environment, great food. A+ If you go to any restaurant, please take the time to read what the menu says as it pertains to charges. This was my first time there and I understood the menu. Another customer who had allegedly been there multiple times before had to be explained how a menu works, AND that pre-tip actually meant "before the tip". We will be back from Virginia for sure in the future!

I got the combo of the chicken breast and steamed shrimp I got 4 shrimp and wasn't even full after eating this meal the portions are small and not worth the money! Go else where!

Gotta say one of my better meals in a long time. Other than the pesky fly we loved it. Recommend bbq platter (w/hush puppies and coleslaw) and loaded pierogis as appetizer.
