I loved my experience at Bugeye Grill! The food was excellent, as was the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially at Thanksgiving.

8 people in party. Dimly lit area we were placed, lacked air circulation. Server knew little about food; had to keep probing for info. Food came out in stages and was luke warm. Food online pictures were not representative of what we actually got. Food lacked flavor, pasta overdone.not enough varierty of fish in dishes. Chewy meat in rueben sandwich. The 2 alcoholic drinks and 2 dessert were delish! Overall food was overpriced! Highly unlikely we would go back and highly unlikely would we recommend it to others.

The salmon was excellent. The potatoes were perfectly sauteed and cooked. I got there not too long after they opened, so I go to sit on the patio giving me a nice view when I ate. The patio is closed in, so no problem with the chilly weather.

nothing we ordered was worth eating again or the price. Not sure if we just ordered all the wrong things but it has been awhile since I’ve encountered such a disappointing dining experience. Unfamiliar with the area and just visiting, the reviews of this place seemed promising but the food quality was subpar. Some items were bland and tasteless. Others inedible. The margherita flatbread was hardly restaurant quality as it was essentially a pita with sauce and watery mozzarella melted. My friend was not able to finish her crab soup as the meat tasted funky. Idk this place has me stumped. The menu sounds very good but the execution is questionable.

We had the Crab Spring Rolls and Lobster Alfredo tonight at Bugeyegrill....we enjoyed everything. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming....5 stars👍🤤
Disappointing lunch experience based on the reviews. Server took our order (after we sat unacknowledged for 10 min) and brought food to table. Full stop. No follow up. No drink refills. Nada. Food was edible; would not describe it as “good”.

Sat down 40 minutes ago and ordered not only to watch other tables get sat order and start eating. When I got up and asked considering no one came over to check on us I was told they just found the ticket and they were starting to make it. Last day of an amazing anniversary weekend and ruined morning. Thanks for nothing

This will be a kind of long review however I feel it needs to be said. Wife and I had moved to Calvert County back in 1990. We knew this restaurant many years ago that changed names a lot. This past Sunday we decided to go to see all the Halloween decorations in Solomons and wanted to try the Bugeye Grill. We walked in at 4 pm and wanted a table for the two of us. We were asked if we had a reservation and I chuckled because they only had 4 couples eating inside with many tables empty. We were told Maybe I can put you at this small table over here however it was behind a wall, and we both declined So we choose to sit outside at 4 pm that time of day the sun would blind you. We ate and the food was good, and we spent one hundred dollars with no alcohol drinks. Now its 520 pm and after paying the waitress I went back inside and unbelievable the place was as empty and when we first walked in. I tried to get the owner to call me about what a customer's thought of his first visit was and maybe he could have been concerned enough to call me. As of today, he or she never returned my call.

Me and my Boyfriend ate here and I will say the atmosphere and the server was very nice. We did have to wait awhile to put our orders in but it was a busy Saturday and our server did look busy so we weren’t too upset about that. Now the food… we got the crab springrolls which were $18 for 2 small rolls. I got the seafood fettuccine, the shrimp was very Chewy and it had a strong fishy smell and didn’t have the best flavor. My bf got the lobster fettuccine and it was SOOO BLAND and watery. For $30 pasta it should at least be fresh and have a good flavor. $90 in total and we ended up at chick fil a after for an actual meal.
